im bored, and ive played all the games on my NES. but one game i really want to play is Mega Man 2, ive been wanting to for a long time but we never got it, so im gonna go buy it
ok i was walking to my local video game store when out the corner of my eye i saw a woman. she looked...off. i went up to her and she offered me, low and behold, a copy of MM2. she said i could have it for free and then she kinda just fucked off lol. i was not sketched out at all, in fact i was ecstatic. i got the game ive been wanting forever for free! i was so happy that i skipped all the way home. my parents were out today so they wouldnt mind. I instantly put the game in my NES and booted it up. i flailed around and sang along with the intro music like an idiot cuz i was so excited. when i got to the boss select, though, it was...off. something was off...OH RIGHT! WOOD MAN! he had a >:] face and when i selected him, instead of 'Wood Man' it said 'nice'. i recongnized this as the old meme and shrugged it off. probably a glitch. I played the level and everything waas normal except the fact that all the enemies had the 'nice' face. again it was probablt a weird glitch and i continued. when i got to wood man, he still had the face but when mega man touched wood man, instead of getting contact damage, HE got the face too, and the game froze
i was really confused, and no matter how hard i tried, i couldn't get the game to unfreeze. so i turned off the TV. as im writting this right now, im looking out my window. wait, what is that? theres someone brown and grey outside my door. oh wait OH GOD

its been a whole day since wood man broke into my house. my parents haven't come home yet. i want to call them but my phone is dead and the charger is in the same room as he is. i can't message them on my computer, they never check their emails. ive sent them emails anyway, just in case. i need to tell them to stay far away from the house. i cant risk them getting...infected. please, whoever reading this, please send help. track my IP adress or something. i don't remeber the house address and i'm not leaving this room to check.

the thing i feared most happened. my parents came home. I tried to yell to them from my room to watch out, but i was too late. Wood Man got to them first. they have become shells of their former selves. all they do now is walk around the house, spouting the word 'nice'. i havent opened my door to see their faces. i don't want to. i know what happened to them and i want to spare myself from the horrible truth. now i cry hours at a time, wishing i could go back in time to stop this, but all i can do is sob. please send help.

it's been 4 days since the breakout. i've been in self-quarantine all this time, with 3 latches on my door and my small recliner shoved against it. i've been surviving on beef jerky i had hidden in my room and an old water bottle who's water tastes like scotch tape. but its the only thing keeping me alive right now, so i'm grateful. occasionally i hear footsteps outside my door and the god forsaken word 'nice' uttered from time to time around the house. even the thought of Mega Man 2 sickens me now. this laptop and its internet is one of the only things keeping me sane, luckily i do have the charger in here with me. i'm just so sorry. i'm sorry to my parents and for ever taking the game home. if i ever get out of here, as myself that is, i will never forget what i have done. please, oh god please, send help. i dont know how much longer i can go on.
