Line 1:
Dear Reader,

There have always been 2 ways to take, 2 paths, 2 journeys…journeys... all leading to the same end. You may not realize it now, but both in physical and in mental relations this is true. Though, I have become lucid, I am able to depict what has and will be given to you as a gift from this island. It is all the same. The voices, memories and feeling are all the same. To understand such a factor one must let go of these things; but letting go is the hard part.

I do not know you in person, nor will I ever have such a pleasure of a meeting with you, but I can tell you this now. You are lost in a prison of thoughts and irrational decisions. How did I get here? Where do I go? How will I eat? Should I build a shelter? To all your questions an answer will appear as you venture through this vast landscape of not only mine, but your physiological impression. You may not find life, or any sign of civilization or even me…me... but you will find a path that leads.

In 1877 a man named Ted Faustino had come up with the idea of, what we now know as, modern medical technology. Of course no one at the time would heed his word and continued using the tech available at that time. Ted, as many inventors and talented people of the time was born into a poor family, and had not gotten in opportunity into a successful education. Instead he himself had gotten quite interested in medical practices. He had created the first painless operation upon a pig, and later a human being. This may seem irrelevant to our situation, but its not. Ted has been here. I have seen his name in the rock which makes up this island. I know!
