I was at an abandoned house exploring what used to be in it. It was a hot winter's Valentine's Day. Why did I say hot? It's South Florida. Anyways, there were some strange people trying to talk to me as I was entering the neighborhood. They insisted that I avoided this home at ALL costs. I was like "Okay." Obviously, I didn't fucking listen. I should have though.

I was thinking about my crush as I was digging through this house's junk. There seemed to be nothing in any drawers, other than some wires, probably phone chargers. No computers or house phones in sight, though. I started hearing some strange knocking on the ceiling above me (it was a three-story house). Suddenly, I heard the loudest fucking screaming ever possible. I ran out of the house as fast as I could, covering my ears, as well leaving all my "scavenging" in the house. As soon as I got the hint that the screaming was over, I checked the time. It was 2:15 PM. This must have happened a minute earlier.

I then looked back at the house I had just escaped from. I assumed the object in consideration belonged to the previous homeowner.

There was nothing but a slowly decaying bouquet of roses.
