Trollpasta Wiki:List/General Guidelines

When you add your pasta to the list, make sure to do so in alphabetical order. Do not just put it at the end of the section it goes under like it's some kind of chronology.

To link to your pasta, put its exact name inside a set of square double brackets, like this: [[Pasta Name]]. Do not, under any circumstances, copy and paste the pasta's URL. All that is necessary is the name and the double brackets.

Also, pastas that begin with the word "A", "An", or "The" should be alphabetized based on the first letter of the second word. For example, "The Rake" should go under "R", not "T". This goes for pastas beginning with the word "TEH", as well; a pasta entitled "TEH RAEK" would also go under "R". This rule also applies to pastas beginning with any variation of "The", even those that do not start with the letter "T", such as "Da" and "Duh". So if a pasta is entitled "DA RAK", it should not go under "D".

The "A", "An", or "The" (or any variation thereof) in these kinds of pastas should be put at the end of the title, rather than the beginning. Whereas a pasta entitled "HAWNTD TOYLET" would look like this: [[HAWNTD TOYLET]], a pasta entitled "TEH HAWNTD TOYLET" would look like this: [[TEH HAWNTD TOYLET|HAWNTD TOYLET, TEH]]. Remember: the "|" character changes the name of the link, but not the destination.
