I sold the copy of BlazBlue Continuum Shift and got the extended version. And when I used a program to see the characters, I saw only 24 this time. There was no Death character file.

I got a great fighting game known as Blazblue: Continuum Shift. When I unlocked everyone, I chose to access the game's files using a program, and was able to find a file called "Char.txt" and "Char" means characters.

What was weird was that I found 25 items, and there were only 24 characters. I found a bunch of the text (like Ragna, Hazama, etc.) but then, I saw a folder that said:

"Death"

I opened it up. There was a picture and a .avi video. His texture file was E:\BlazBlue\textures\Char\modeltexture\Death.

I opened it up and what I saw grossed me out. It was a picture of a puppet of a dead child. It had glowing red eyes, it was covered in blood and entrails, and he was holding a blood-covered knife. It looked like Chucky, the evil doll, but more gruesome. The file was called "Death.png"

I looked up how to unlock him on the script. It said:

"To unlock him, you need to defeat Jin 3 times without taking damage, while playing as Hazama."

And it took me a while, but I finally did it. I saw the choose your character menu and it showed Death on there.

This time, it was a hooded man with no face (kind of like Taokaka) but unlike Taokaka, he was covered in blood, and his entrails were laying out. I played as him, and I made a huge mistake. I chose to fight Hazama, and I got his health low. When I was using an Astral Heat, he said:

"Death will take your soul."

When that happened, he threw Hazama into the air and put a knife in his face. Then, he ripped Hazama's head and spine off of his body, kind of like one of Sub-Zero's fatalities in Mortal Kombat. I was surprised about this. Now, don't get me wrong, I've seen bloodier finishers in Mortal Kombat, but this game was rated T! Why would they put this in BlazBlue, a game that's rated T?

Then, I returned to the main menu. And what I saw was that Hazama wasn't playable anymore. He wasn't on the character selection screen. I heard an eerie, slow voice talking to me.

"Thank you for unlocking me. You needed to kill one character, and you chose a good character to kill. There is 24 characters again, and I'm now one of them."

Then the screen went black and the voice said:

"Finding me was your mistake." I was freaked out. Then, giant text said:

"FINDING ME WAS YOUR MISTAKE" on the TV. It was written in blood, and it almost looked like you could actually touch it.

I sold the copy of BlazBlue Continuum Shift and got the extended version. And when I used a program to see the characters, I saw only 24 this time. There was no Death character file.
