I heard SpongeBob swear

I know, it seems way too much like a joke, but I'm not joking. I actually heard SpongeBob swear.

It was one of the most flabbergasting and bewildering experiences I've ever had.

It was July 17th, 1999. I was watching the SpongeBob episode "Ripped Pants".

I was enjoying it, and I began to enjoy it more once the song began.

It was normal and all, up until the lyric "I know I shouldn't mope around, I shouldn't curse... but fuck".

When I heard that, I was so shocked I started aggressively breakdancing on the floor while screaming.

After that, I was never allowed to watch SpongeBob ever again.

It's been 20 years, and since then I've been crying in my bed wishing I could see this again.

Eventually, I did see it again.
