Line 1:
I go into the bedroom to speak with my wife, but when I enter all I see is a large cake sitting on my bed.
It isn’t my birthday. I look into my wife’s eyes and realize it is not my wife. She is cake. Terrified I stumble to the door but as I grab the handle it comes off. The door is cake.
Line 7:
I turn around to face the frosted eldritch horror in the shape of my wife. She approaches me smiling and says softly
She grabs my arm and I stare in horror as it begins to crumble under her grip. As I look in appalled silence at the cake that I thought was my arm I try to scream.
