Live Another Day, A Pokepasta

It was a rainy day, rainier than usual.

As I was walking home from work, I came across something strange.

There was a table by the park with two things on it, a game and a note, which stated: “FREE GAME! TAKE IT, PLEASE!”

I looked down and saw Pokemon Red, box included, and couldn’t believe it.

Being a huge Pokemon fan, I picked it up and carried it home with me. Although I had played through Pokemon FireRed countless times, the original version is the one I’ve never gotten my hands on.

As soon as I made it to my house, I ran into my game room, pulled out my GBA SP, and tore open that iconic red box.

But there was a problem.

The cartridge was completely black, other than POKEMON printed on where the label should have been.

I couldn’t believe it.

I felt great pain.

Like something was coming over me.

Like I wanted to hurt everyone, hurt all of society.

For leaving a freaking creepypasta by the park instead of the actual game.

I sighed, put the game and my pocket, and drove to the local flea market.

“You can take this for free, I have a feeling someone will be interested in it.” I said to the clerk, and left the shop without another word.

Ever since this event, I have not had reoccurring nightmares, I have not stopped playing the Pokemon series, and I do not have any proof of this because it didn’t happen.

Seriously, guys, if you see an obvious creepypasta game, don’t play it… Why is that so hard?
