I quickly finish up the last bit of my toast and place the dishes into the sink. "Come on Ebony, we're going to see Violet today~" She smiled, Ebony quickly coming after be as I head towards the front door. I pause when passing through the living room, a news story playing catching my eye.

"…a...a suspect is still yet to be named in this vicious attack. Investigators are still stumped on the reason behind this event, but clues point to it being a pokemon attack." The reporter said, moving onto a new topic. A long frown slowly forms on my face as I listen to the story, trying my best to shake it off. "Come on Ebony…Ebony..." I sigh, moving away from the television and continue on my way out of the house.

"See you later mom!" I call back into the house, making sure I have everything I need before leaving and closing the door behind me. I quickly head down the sidewalk with Ebony right by my side, unable to shake all of the questions in my head. Why would a pokemon suddenly kill someone like that? They usually just hurt people in defense if it's called for, but I've never heard of a death before. I try my best to escape these horrible images in my head as I continue on my way.
Line 13:
Nothing out of the ordinary happens for most of the day, I have fun hanging out with Violet and her Purrloin, the pokemon having fun together as well.

"Bye Violet! Come on Ebony." I smile, waving goodbye to my friend as I make my way back home. I stare up at the light pinks and oranges of the sunset sky, Ebony's yellow body rings slowly starting to glow like they usually do. I almost trip over my own feet when a sudden screech of car tires appears behind me. I was forced to jump out of the way as the car raced towards me and Ebony. I watched in horror as the car crashed head on into a tree, making sure Ebony was alright before moving up to the wreck to see if anyone could have somehow survived. The sight inside the car made my face turn white. The driver was dead, but that wasn't the thing that horrified me…Ame...A lifeless Weavile was laying slumped over the dashboard, blood from its trainer covering its claws and arms.

"C-come on Ebony…Ebony..." I say quietly, quickly running from the scene with the horrible image burned into my mind. This was the second pokemon-related death in one day, what was going on? By now I was starting to get frightened. Would a pokemon suddenly jump out and attack me next? I let out a long sigh of relief once I was safely in my house. My mother's usual 'Welcome home!' coming from the living room helping to comfort me. At least everything was normal in here.

A few days pass and everything seems to be back to normal. I slip my shoes on and make sure I have my money before heading for the pokemart to get some things for my mother. Ebony followed next to me as always, but something seemed to be a little off. She was quieter than usual. I try my best to shake it off as just my nerves still a bit shaky from what I had witnessed a few nights before. I slow down and stop when a strange noise seems to be coming from a short distance away. It suddenly hits me, it's someone's voice!
Line 25:
Screams of pain or fear begin to erupt from houses or around corners as pokemon start to rip into their trainers, tears falling off my chin and down to the pavement as my fear rapidly grew. I soon make it back to what I thought would be my only safe haven. I throw open the door to my home, blood splashing over me as Ivory tore open my mother's throat with her teeth in front of me. I fall down onto my knees, legs giving out from the sheer horror of what I was seeing. Paralyzed by fear, and unable to move, I am forced to watch as the once loyal pokemon turned her frosty blue fur red. My eyes slowly turn to watch in fear as Ebony appeared from behind our couch and slowly approach me. The two pokemon eventually start glaring at me, the moments feeling like an eternity. They suddenly lunge at me, sinking their teeth into my flesh.

I scream in terror as I wake up in my bed. I slowly sit up and look around my dark bedroom, putting a hand on my forehead as I try to calm myself down. I glance towards the foot of my bed to see Ebony looking up at me, using the bed to balance herself. If I look closely…Iclosely...I swear she's glaring at me…me...
