I was surfing the net for Pokemon DS emulators, the rom was. I found a rom of platinum, it seemed promising, so I downloaded it, installed it and did all the other 1,000 things. I played it, it started perfectly, but when I pressed that Z on my keyboard, my life changed. It showed Rowan introducing himself, but something was off, the music was slower... I ignored it and made my character, since I was a girl, I naturally chose the female, but the sprites didn't move, and they both didn't have a smile, just blank expressions. After I made the final touches (the name), I was in my house like normal, but it was... different, my rival came in, and did the same crap as always, then left, I was not suspecting what was to come. So I went downstairs, did the stuff you do before you get your Starter, the starter selecting was different, the starters looked sad, I saved at that point, then my game crashed right after, I was a die hard Pokemon fan, so I opened the file again, selected my save point by pressing F4, I was at the same point yet, the starters looked so depressed still, that was the first time I ever felt sad in a Video game. I now had to battle my rival like always just after I got my starter, I beat him, then I was introduced to a earpiercing screech, I had to wait 20 seconds with that terrible screech. When it was done, I assumed it wouldn't do that again, boy was I wrong! I went through the grass, I found a starly, KOed it (Well what I thought was KOing.) So I got 20 exp. I checked my starter, which was Piplup, there was red on him though, I soon realized... that was blood. At this point I was in a bit of a panic, after I calmed down I continued, made it to the 1st Gym, it was normal, I had to find Roark, then I beat him, but when it was a overworld view, I got the badge, and checked my Roughed up team, they all had blood on them, I began to gradually Hyperventilate, but the wierd thing was, all my Pokemon had Synister Smiles, I was SCARED out of my mind, as I further progressed it got even more creepy, my pokemon eventually evolved shortly after the 1st gym. When I checked my trainer card, my character looked sad, yet mallace, like she enjoyed the blood, yet she didn't want to hurt anything, a mix of mallace and innocence. I progressed to the 2nd gym, the strangeness continued I deffeated Gardenia, when her sprite appeared to congratulate you in-battle, there were tears in her very eyes, it then said Wild Gardenia appeared, her sprite remained there, I had to use an attack, so I just used Ponyta's flame wheel. At this point I couldn't smile, I felt a shiver ride down my spinal cord. I eventually beat the game, I was lucky enough to not be scarred yet, I checked my PC after, what was wierd is that it showed every Pokemon I battled and deffeated from every trainer I beat. It took me a week to beat, When I turned that emulator off, I put the file in my recycle bin folder. Since then I had terrible nightmares which are to Morbid to explain.
