After Gred arrived, we gathered up all the money we can gather and headed off, not knowing how much the games would be. I would’ve checked online. Anyway, we first stopped at GameStop, because that usually have great prices for games and are very reliable when finding games.

We stopped at the GameStop, got out of the car, and walked in. We started to search around the store, but didn’t have any luck with finding any Game Boy games. We asked the employeee that who was working at the counter at the time about the absence of Game Boy games. He told us that yesterday some kids ran into the store with trash bags, stole the entirety of the Game Boy section, and ran out off the store leaving only a note saying “HA"HA HA”. We thought that this was extremely odd. We asked the employee if he knew where we can find a store that has Game Boy games. He told us that we can go to another GameStop or find another game store. We left GameStop to try and find another store.

After that, we left and went to another GameStop. We were about to open the door when someone opened the door. Three or four kids ran out with bags. They hopped in a car and drove off, hitting a few civilians in the process. We ran into the store to ask what had happened. The employee was crawling towards the door, gripping his gut. He told us that those kids just stole their entire supply of Game Boy games. Me and my friend looked at each other, nodded, and ran out of the store to our car. Greg tripped over the poor GameStop employee, but he recovered quickly and we ran to the car to chase after the Game Boy theives. Luckily, their van had hit a light pole and was temporarily stopped. They backed up and started driving away as we sped up to them.

We walked into my house and up to my room. Greg pulled his 3DS from his pants and I grabbed my Gameboy from my closet. He inserted his game, and I inserted mine. We played for the next few hours until he left to go home. I went to bed at around 8:45 PM.

The next morning I made breakfast and decided to play Pokemon Yellow as I ate breakfast. I turned on the game and was greeted to the Viridian City music. Except it wasn’t playing the Viridian City music like it should have been since I am in Viridian City. All it was was a low tone that would have occasional beeps mixed in. After about 3 minutes of this, it then went silent with a soft pitter patter. As I walked through Viridian City, small black shadows started moving across the screen, so fast that I couldn’t tell what they were. NPCs started running into houses. When I tried to enter the houses, a pop up appeared saying “They"They locked the door”. When I tried walking in the PokeMart and the Pokemon Center, it displayed a message that said “CLOSED”"CLOSED”. I was very confused by this, but intrigued.

After awhile I made it to the Elite Four. Across the entire game it only had the pitter patter as background music, and those shadows followed me wherever I went. Strangely enough, I almost never encountered any wild Pokemon, so the only way to get XP was through trainer battles. I thought this was weird, but thinking nothing of it, I continued to fight the Blue. It was a strange fight because the only Pokemon he had were Rattatas. He also had more than six Pokeballs. He had around six to eight. After I defeated him with ease, I entered the Hall of Fame.
