What Lead To The Creation Of This?

The My Life As A Teenage Robot crew revealed on their blog on October 17, 2005, that the show had been canceled, and that the third season would be the last: "The executives love the show but the ratings aren't good enough for them to give us more episodes." The series wrapped production in April of 2006. Following the series' cancellation, Renzetti returned to Cartoon Network Studios, working on Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and The Cartoonstitute, before moving on to the Disney Channel to become a supervising producer for Gravity Falls. The third season aired on Nicktoons from October 2008 to May 2009, officially concluding the broadcast of the series in the United States.

Renzetti Could Not Move On

After the show's cancellation, Renzetti would sit at the television watching My Life As A Teenage Robot episodes air on Nicktoons, but inside he had a feeling he could not get off his chest.

After each airing that he would watch, this feeling worsens. His mind gets busier on how to move on from the cancellation of the show because he knows what the feeling is. At the same time, he has to work for Cartoon Network.

He would watch less of his creation on television, but nothing changed. Until May 2009, when the show was set to air for the last time. After learning that it was the last time, he felt down that for now he had to abandon his beloved show and he would attempt to come back to it much later.

He would make drawings and comic-like stuff only for himself to focus on Cartoon Network and get the show off of his mind, but it gets stuck in his mind instead.

He would also imagine Season 4 on paper now that the show is canceled and Season 4 cannot be aired. He would always think of what to draw when he was off of work.

Nothing Worked For Him

He would look at fan art and animation to make him feel happy about the show, but his feelings got worse instead.

In the end, he has gone insane to the point he would create a storyboard for an episode that would never air: suiciderobot.avi.

Renzetti Wants To Visualize His Mental State (June 2010)

He would constantly search and look on the internet for what could be this episode, then he finally got inspired by the suicidemouse.avi story and the video that was uploaded to YouTube (December 2009).

The Storyboard

Renzetti has completed the storyboard and has posted it to his private forums site. Then he decided to not make anything My Life As A Teenage Robot related anymore until he could, which led to him finally relaxing and focusing on his work.

He told his friends there that it was a joke storyboard and to not leak it. As a joke, one of his friends posted the link to the private forum on his blog and the friend told the people on the blog who were online that the file name of the storyboard was suiciderobot.png, which was the actual name of the file that Renzetti has posted.

His friend that has just posted to the blog thought the file server of the private forum was closed, but he was wrong. The friend's blog was just like a private blog but it was public, he did not have a great amount of people viewing the blog (told to be 40 people).

10 minutes after posting the link to the blog, the friend learned that the file server was open, and then he deleted the post from his blog immediately. Only 7 people saw the storyboard, and I, the writer managed to contact just one of them. Their name will stay anonymous.

There was a feature to view what post was deleted only to the admins (only the friend himself was an admin) and who saw the post, the friend directly messaged all 7 people to not leak the link anywhere or they would face consequences.

Fortunately, the 7 people were nice and listened to him, the people told the friend that they were terrified and it did not seem like a joke. The friend did not find a problem in the storyboard, so he told them that it was just a joke by Renzetti and move on.

Thankfully the person I contacted says that they remember what was going on in the storyboard drawings, but not the storyboard drawings themselves. They can only describe what the drawings were:

"It was just like suicidemouse.avi. On the storyboard, there wasn't any My Life As A Teenage Robot logo like the normal storyboards. Before the first image, it wrote that there is no intro. The image was Jenny Wakeman on the left side of the screen walking normally with a neutral face on the sidewalk with Tremorton in the background. Below the image wrote that there would be no sound effects but void-like music on low pitch.

The second image was a black screen, but below it was some rougher handwriting which I was able to read that wrote that Jenny would be in this walk cycle until 4 minutes and 4 seconds when it cuts to a black screen until 9 minutes and a few seconds in.

The screen comes back on the third image which is a rougher drawing of Jenny and the background, but the only difference I saw was her missing her belly button. Below the image was written with now rougher handwriting. I only understood that it wrote that the music would sound like a faint burning fire but in reverse.

The fourth image has a slightly broken Tremorton in the background, Jenny's neck is 45 degrees lower which was shown in the image, and now she's smiling. The drawings and handwriting were not that rough since this image somehow, and weird scribbles around the images began to increase from here. Below the image wrote that at the 10 minutes and 9 seconds mark, Jenny will lower her neck and Tremorton will slightly decay, with a very faint sound of the people in Tremorton screaming for help.

The fifth image has a broken Tremorton, with Jenny having her neck position normal again but this time she does not have her eyes, she has stepped on them and broken them. She has a wide smile with normal, human teeth. She looks decayed. Below wrote that in the 11th minute while she raises her neck: Her eyes drop, she widens her smile and she walks slightly faster with every step. The screams are louder and the music is faster. Every step she takes cracks the sidewalk.

The sixth image is the end screen and the seventh image is the credits, but the credits are missing. In the credits background, Jenny looks decayed and has a sad face. Nothing was written below the images. So the time the end screen shows up was not specified. But this is just what I remember. It's been 13 years and there have to be mistakes in my memory."

For now, nothing else is known about this storyboard.
