The Big Bang Theory Theory: Difference between revisions

So, has anyone ever watched The Big Bang Theory? It's pretty much a comedy show on CBS about some science geeks in their eternal struggle to get laid. First, there's Sheldon who grew up in rural Texas and now works as a physicist studying string theory. Then there's Leonard, Sheldon's roommate who really wanted to be a rapper but the fact that both of his parents were doctors forced him to also be one. He's been in an on-and-off relatioonshiprelationship with their slutty neighbor Penny. Then there's Raj, a lonely Indian astro-physicist and alcoholic. Finally, there's Howard (though they usually refer to him as his last name Wolowitz) who was actually the most pathetic of the characters, but ended up being the first one to get married and go to space somehow.

Now what if I told you that the show was based on the real lives of these people? Don't be surprised--most shows are based on the life of one or multiple people. For example, George Lopez was really a homeless crackhead who often took shelter in the ruins of Powers Brothers Aviation. Gurren Lagann was based on the life of a boy who grew an unhealthy obsession with giant robots when his older brother died. And Hey Arnold! was based on a young boy's life in the ghetto of New York and Courage the Cowardly Dog was really a boy with an abusive father and protective mother who thought he was a dog throughout most of his life because his father Eustace had the tendency to call him a "stupid dog".
