The Candle

You see the candle.

You look at the candle for a while, nothing better to do.

The candle burns bright, brighter than most.

The candle burns more, getting shorter.

You feel a little pain in the back of your head.

You shrug it off as nothing.

The candle gets shorter.

The pain becomes more intense.

You can't look away.

The candle is almost gone.

You try harder.

You want to scream, but just a gurgle comes out.

You can't move.

The candle goes out as your vision goes black.
