"Lexie, this is something you need to be locked up for! Or at least in a mental hospital!! I'm calling the police!” As she was dialing the digits for 911, she felt a sharp pain in her chest. She looked down, seeing a knife through her body, before looking at Lexie and making eye contact with her before dropping to the ground dead. Lexie took the knife out of her mother’s chest and ran to the nearest forest, running for a long time, stopping to catch her breath, and staring at her hands for a long period of time until she heard a twig snap behind her. When she looked behind her, nothing was there, but when she turned back around, she was greeted by an extremely slender, pale humanoid figure wearing a pitch-black suit and a blank face.

 

A month later, there was a report on people found dead out in the woods. Lots of bodies were found without any skin. The only survivor said the person who attacked them had dyed ginger hair, green eyes, and stitches. They also said that she could change her voice really well.

 

From then on people called this infamous killer The Skinwalker.
