After scrolling through a few pages of them, I saw one that caughtscared my eyeme. It was a Pokemon Gold cartridge for 3 dollars,. anThe extremelyseller greatname and"POKE rare price. The seller666", said it was in great condition, other than the label being torn off. I boughtrefused it immediately,because thinkingof itwhat wouldhappened beto snatchedme upand byMatt someonea elsefew soon.months ago.

A day later, I heard a knock at the door and got up to answer it. When I opened the door, no one was there. I looked down at my feet and saw the game. The weird part is that it wasn’t in any sort of packaging wrap, box, label, or even aI caserefused. ItI wasleft justit aout cartridgethere onbut thecuriosity ground.got Itme looked fine,better so I picked it up and took it inside. I started to play the game and it showed the title screen. But instead of Ho-oh was flying, itbut Ho-oh was justcolored instead of a silhouette and the Pokemon logo and sky was grey with darkgrey clouds (moremuch like rain clouds). I was kindaa creeplittle creeped out out of how did that happen but I thought it was a glitch so I started to play the game. There was a save file already there with the name “GOLD”"GOLD".

I proceeded to play in the save file it was at the very beginning of the game, so much so that I had no Pokemon, no Pokedex,no items in my bag, and have 3000 Poke DollarsPokedollars, I thought the guy didn’tdidn't save but once. I went to ProfProfessor Elm's lab to select my Pokemon, I selected Cyndaquil, but it didn’tdidn't let my nickname it and a battle started it. It was LanceElm himself but with no skin color, hair, or even a face, and with one Pokemon, a level 505 DragoniteTotodile and had a “PSN”"PSN" status effect.

I defeated him in one hit with a move that I’veI've never seen before, it's called ”Nightmare”"Nightmare" and it did thata jump scare noise that is from "The Scary Maze"scream. Then LanceElm said ”Suffering"You iskilled not known”Steve" and gave me 10010,000 Poke DollarsPokedollars. He didn’tdidn't show up in the lab, he was gone and just before getting my 8th1st badge the game showed thedark colored bars you see onred TVstatic for 10 minutesseconds followed by a scream so loud that the game boy shocked me even with the sound all the way down. Then, I seen the most scariest picture ever, it was Gold but impaled on a spike, bleeding, and body parts shattered everywhere and with LanceElm standing there laughing. The game restated itself but the title screen with just Pokemon Gold and no sky, clouds, or even Ho-oh. It was just a black screen with the logo in inverted colors.

I pressed start and the save file changed to “LANCE”"KILLER", I started up theand the same thing happened with Gold impaled on the spike and LanceElm laughing. I didrestarted it again but this time it looked like hell itself. The longer I stayed there, the more demonic it becomes. After a hour of staring at it,  my Game Boy explodedturned red and there was ashaking pieceviolently. ofScary plasticand stuckdemonic inthings mystared face.to Icome wentout tofrom themy hospitalPC and theGameboy policeand wasthe thereapartment waitingcomplex forfrom questioningthe forbottom whyfloor thereset wasquickly plasticon infire, myI face.managed Ito toldgrab themmy whatlaptop, happened3DS, and wassome clothes releaseddue to go home, I showed them the damagedfire cartridgenot andmaking gaveto itmy tofloor themyet.
