{{SUPPORT}} I don't think theres any reason you SHOULDN'T get the rights. You're more active than most of the admins, anyways. [[User:Blu Jerry|Blu Jerry]] ([[User talk:Blu Jerry|talk]]) 16:32, March 17, 2016 (UTC) |
Revision as of 16:32, 17 March 2016
All right everyone. I'm finally applying for admin. I'm doing this because I am one of the most active staff members, and the other administrators are either inactive or semi-active. I know the AVAST right allows you to block and delete pages, as well as edit protected pages and rollback edits. I have done a good job of blocking users and deleting pages. Administrator allows you to do more, such as closing threads and removing replies threads, chat rights, MediaWiki editing, and more. I feel like if I had the administrator right, more good would come out of it for the entire website. I understand I may have made a few editing slips during my time here, such as violating Genre Listing a couple times, but this has not happened in a while, and I have memorized it fully. A couple users think that I make a lot of useless edits just so I can get this right, and they are wrong. They were just simple edit mistakes, such as here, when I was having a cache problem and the page was showing up blank for me. I looked in the previous revision and it was blank. I looked in the revision before that and it was not blank. So I rollbacked the edit, then I realized that my undo was a mistake, I added back the category that was actually done in the previous revision. With that being said, I'm going to move on to the requirements now.

According to Special:ListUsers, I have 1,059 article edits, but it says that the last time I edited was March 7, which is in fact not true, as I have edited every day.

Yes, I already had experience with this as an AVAST.
Must know how to block a user for an appropriate amount of time.
Already had experience with this, yes.
Must be familiar with the layout of the wiki.
I am very familiar with the layout.
This is everything for my application. If you oppose me against having this right, please give me a reason and I will surely have an answer for you. Thank you.
