Emma, the Lord of Hell, was sick. All the doctors in Hell did what they could for him, but he got no better. "Give me a human doctor from the land of the living." he said to the Green Ogre. "Yes, sire,--but how can I tell who is a good doctor?" "The doctor who has no revengeful ghosts at his door is a good one." The Green Ogre went off to earth, and looked here and there, but everywhere at the doors of the doctors there were ghosts of the people they had killed. At last he found one with no ghosts, and asked the people next door about him. "He set up his practice yesterday."
