I recently bought a new laptop because I really wanted to play the Elder Scrolls series from Arena to Skyrim. Upon completing Arena up to Oblivion I decided to get some mods.

So I thought of no better website then TESNexus. I clicked on the quest mods and found one by the name "1b432ub4.esp" I didn't have a clue what it was, there were no screenshots no videos and no description. There wasn't even a single download. So I downloaded it. It was 15Kb in size. I don't know how that is possible for an Oblivion quest but whoever made it scaled it down to that size.

After 2 minutes it downloaded. I don't think my internet has ever been that slow before. I opened the folder and found the .esp itself and a .txt file. I left the .txt file for later and placed the .esp in the Data folder. I launched Oblivion. At the Main Menu I clicked on load but it would not let me load my saved game.My saved game was corrupted. It was odd but I just went ahead and started a new game. After the loading screen things weren't normal. It goes black and the emporers cutscene started. But something was strange about it. The emporer wasn't sitting in the chair and all the speech was backwards and lower pitched. I tried to skip it but it would not let me. Upon five times of trying to skip the cutscene my screen went blank and cut to an image of the emporer laying on the floor dead. His eyes were black and his chest was ripped open. I started to freak out and ran to the toilet to vomit. I was going to quit by that time but I thought that this denomic mod needed more exploring. I walked up to the emporers body to inspect it more carefully. Suddenly his chest burst and you could see his heart...beating. I went to quit but my Esc button wasn't working and I was stuck in this room. I tried the console but that wasn't working either. In desperation I turned around and ran down a hallway with doors on each side. Each time I came close to a door it opened and zombies would walk out. I got to the end of the hallway and found a door that said "Open door to Your Death" I didn't know what to do at that point. After thinking I opened the door. Oblivion crashed and I had to reboot my laptop. I turned it back on and it sent me straight into a website that had no search address. All the website had was a title saying "You can not escape"

After a few hours of looking for an explination to this mod I remembered that I recorded the whole thing with Fraps. After 10 minutes I found a file named "1b432ub4.avi" I wish I never found it. I opened it and it was distorted noise and a picture of me...dead. I closed the video and deleted every trace of this mod.

Aftermath

3 weeks later I looked up the mod on TESNexus and somebody had downloaded the mod. Later on that day there was a news report on TV headed "Boy killed by video game" A picture of the boy came up. My power cut out and Oblivion started on my laptop. I was again in this dark room. And laying next to the emporer, was that boy. My laptop bluescreened but all the writing was in japanese. Please I am warning you. Do not download this mod.
