If your a player of Roblox or even a recent one, there's a mass chance you've heard of the Roblox FPS Arsenal. If you haven't, here's the basics.
Arsenal is inspired by the once popular gun game mode that it's popularity is centered around the game Counter Strike Source. The objective is to get 30 kills until you get to the 31th kill where you have to stab someone with the knife to win.
But I'm not going to give my review of the game, I am gonna explain what I now assume is the dark side of this game...
I logged on to Roblox to try and find some new front page games that could seem appealing to play.
But, like Modern-day Roblox is, there was not even a single recent front page game. So I searched for something for example "Sword fighting" but nothing came up other than the old Sword fight on the heights IV. Then I checked my messages I had to yet received if there could possibly be some random links to games.
This one I had received however, caught my eye. It was a link from a user whom of for obvious reasons I will not name drop. The only piece of context it had was a link to a game of which I was not familiar with.
It was a link to a [CONTENT DELETED] game, which immediately lowered my expectations. Because it was the standard content deleted game page.
However, it still didn't stop me from being curious and clicking play. The first thing I noticed was that the entire game was Arsenal. It was like they downloaded a unknown free model that was secretly the whole entire game of Arsenal. At first, nothing was off. The main menu's GUI was the same, the default character level 1 character delinquent was there, and it felt like a unknown copy and pasted version of Arsenal.
But things had to take a turn for the worse as I clicked Deploy and chose a team. What I hadn't realized was that this was a full server, but these weren't bots either. and when I looked at the chat, everyone in the server was discussing how the same user sent a link to the game.
This was really weird since I wasn't the only one, but it made me think that this was a setup.
This time, things started to get really weird the next match.
You know how I said earlier this was a FPS game? This time however, you could somehow zoom in from first person to third person. But oh god my eyes after what i'd seen...
When I looked at my delinquent in third person, there was a flicker. He instead looked absolutely terrifying now I know what it was. The delinquent's face was humanoid. It looked like the realistic rthro character faces. What made me sick to my stomach was that Hyper-realistic blood came out dripping from the eyes, But I just ignored it since it on the screen for the spilt of a slight second, thinking it was a glitch.
So instead I stuck to first person because the third just felt really odd. When I shot somebody at gave them damage, instead of no gore or either blood coming out and showing how much damage you gave them, Blood would come out spattering everywhere just like in real life, and when you got a kill, instead of the body disappearing and respawning, the body would just lie dead with blood coming out and their faces instead of looking humanoid, would return to a Lego looking face and their eyes crossed out with a x and a straight mouth, and there head crookedly twisted side-ways.
That meant at this point the map was basically a slaughterhouse at this point. And when someone got the win, instead of the GUI showing the leaderboard and how many kills someone has their whole entire time playing the game, the screen went black and it showed the message you would get when you are disconnected out of a server, there it ended.
Since then I have to wondered whether this was an attempt to scare players, or in general a hacked version of Arsenal that is meant to be very sinister.
