(Created page with "Dear Reader, There have always been 2 ways to take, 2 paths, 2 journeys… all leading to the same end. You may not realize it now, but both in physical and in mental relations this is true. Though, I have become lucid, I am able to depict what has and will be given to you as a gift from this island. It is all the same. The voices, memories and feeling are all the same. To understand such a factor one must let go of these things; but letting go is the hard part. I do n...")

With me I have a ruler and nothing better to do than to measure the length of this island, one side to the other. It is exactly 21 kilometers from the north end to the south cap, resembling a bottle cap is the sort of way that it keeps water in a certain confined area. I have dropped into that water, but missed. Instead I hit my leg on one of the jagged rocks in the water and have injured my leg. The wound is infected.

The reason I had told you abut Ted was because I think I found his ship. It was called the Ted Faustino SS. Coincidence, I don’t think so. I have found medical supplies and bandages on this ship. Gathering them I noticed that my wound, now a blackish pink color- with a yellow outline, had begun to hurt a lot more. Instinctively, I swallowed a hand full of pain killers which made the pain go away. As I gazed towards my wound I noticed the infection line had begun to make its way up to my heart. I’m afraid I don’t have much time left.

I wish to one day speak with you in person. I may find you in death, as a gull. I will look to my left and see you and whom ever else reads this, to my right I will see ted. It will probably be just the three of us, seeing as how I have made warning signs for would be rescuers not to venture here. I do not wish for them to share a fate similar to mine, and eventually to yours. This is unavoidable.

When we die here, be it of starvation or plummeting to our death from one of the large mountains, remember that this is no one else’s but our fault. We saw to explore the sea and, like natures pawns, were diverted here by the wind or violent waves I see hitting the western side of this island. The western shoreline is flat. Maybe a meter or two until a basically vertical rock stands. I have tried to descend down the rock, only to reach half way. Climbing back up was a chore, seeing as how my pain killers, already third handful in two days, had worn off. The pain was excruciating.

This is my death certificate. Cause of death, most likely heart failure, maybe injuries of the brain from a fall. Maybe oxygen starvation. What ever it may be it is death and unavoidable. What I meant by two paths leading to the same end was- no matter where you go in this island, how far or high, death will eventually catch up.
