Week ago, I downloaded a ROM-image named "FighterSonicBootleg.gba". I was imagined playing this bootleg game many years, so I launched the mGBA emulator to run it. The game boot normally, but when I press start, the title screen garbled for a second. Then, I heard...you guess what? Sonic.EXE Laughs. The game suddenly turn to a zone that I've never seen on the video before. The title card is garbled, so I didn't know what zone it's. The layout of the level is similar to Alp Snowfield, but all the sprites are bloody, except Sonic itself.

When I got half the level, the screen faded black. The game suddenly show a message:"hALLO, dO u wANT 2 pALY wEETH mEE?" After a second, it turns into another level. The level itself are garbled----When I jump on the start point, Sonic fell down. I got a Game Over. Then the emulator crashes. Strange, right? OK. It's time to test it on a real GBA. I goes to the garbled level again, and got a game over. After a while, Sonic.EXE laughs again. Then it faded to Sonic.EXE's "I AM GOD" image. I was so scared, and I even cried. And it faded into a message reads "dON'T dOWNLOAD iLLEGAL cOPY oF mY gAMES, oR yOU wILL cAUGHT bY mE ----SONIC" The next day, I smashed my GBA, turn on my computer, deleted all Sonic-related illegal roms and other stuff. I cannot see Sonic once again from now on. I can't explain why, but when a ROM pack finished download, I deleted all Sonic-related ROMs in the ROM pack.

I still don't know who put this ROM online, but I hope someone will not download this ROM again. That's all.

Author notes

This was my first attempt at a Creepypasta that was originally hosted at SomeOrdinaryGamers before I put a delete templete myself on that page due to overall being horribly written, terrible dialogues, and the overuse of Sonic.exe.

It was originally titled "Sonic 3 Fighter Sonic" but I have to rename it to "FighterSonicBootleg.gba" to prevent it climbing onto the top results when searching the game itself, which happened when it was still hosted on SOG.
