First Served
My name is George and when i was a child, me and my friends would play this game called "First Served". Basically this game is about getting 3 specific items like an egg, cable and phone. The game was fun because one of the players will become a "Fox". The Fox will hide the items or snatch the items away from the players especially when one of us is off-guard. We would always play this game during a sleepover since there is 8 of us. The winner get's somekind of reward while the loser gets punished. Every player that is not a Fox will have someone on their back called "Client" which is why the item and the game name is "First Served". First to "Serve" their Client is the winner. Of course everyone is not punished and last to collect all of their items is the loser along with their client. First is Mark. He is kind and has a good humor which makes him the joker out of the group. Second is Elisabeth. She is smart and we both share the same interest about Fast Cars. You could say she is the brain of the group. Third and Fourth is Jesse and Jimmy. Both of them are brothers and they always stick with each other and they are very defensive with one another. Mess with one and you'll become their enemy kind of thing. Fifth is Hank and he is the most mischievous and is the reason the game was created. He is not so smart but he makes up for it by not being serious at all. By not being serious i mean even if he is getting scolded he doesn't take it seriously and forgets about it almost immediately. Sixth is Will. He is the toughest but the most nicest of the group. He knows when to back off and he is almost gentlemen like which is why he is very popular at school especially with girls. Lastly is Kiro. She is not well-known since she just enrolled into our school and joined our group recently. And now me. I think the perfect way to describe myself is The Speed Demon. Basically i'm the fastest out of the group. Of course not in school.
One day, my parent allowed me to hold a sleepover and all of my friends agreed to go. Of course some are early and some are late but all of them did come to my house. Since my bedroom is big almost like mansion-like though it is not very big like a mansion. Hank as usual requested that we play the game "First Served" and of course we agreed. I was the Fox while the others are the Players and Clients. Because of my speed i win almost all the time if i were to be a fox. A fox in disguised as a rabbit if you could call it that. It was fun, Kiro and Jimmy won the first round and Jesse and Hank Lost, Mark and Will Won and Hank and Elisabeth Lost, etc. It went on so long that we forgot about our sleep routine which made my mom scolded us. While laying we are in bed Hank made noises that made us giggle even though we are trying to sleep, all it took is one noise to snap back to reality. While this is going on i was surfing on my phone watching videos until i saw a video in particular. The video has been deleted ever since but i can vaguely remember something about a prison and how it is haunted to the point where the prisoners would do anything to get transferred. Nonetheless it was hard to sleep especially the fact that Hank kept making weird noises to keep us up. He finally fell asleep after hours later but we are very tired, almost all of us fell asleep but me. The time was exactly 3:46 AM, still scrolling on my phone. Sometime i went to check on the group photos but then i notice something strange in one of them.
The said photo first contains Jimmy and Jesse eating ice cream while Hank is attempting to throw a bucket of water at them. It was funny until it got violent and almost made the group break up. But then i heard a knock and since i don't know Hank was sleeping i thought it was him and turned back to my phone but now it's different. I thought i accidentally swiped to another photo so i didn't think much of it. The photo now contains All of us infront of a haunted house. Will got scared so hard that his tough shield break, resulting in him screaming like a girl. I hear a knock again but then i felt like it is not Hank since he hasn't made a noise in a very long time. I looked back again but now it changed again and now i realized that my finger hasn't done anything of a "Swiping" motion. The photo now contains me, looking on my phone while the camera peeks on the corner. This horrified me since it was 3 AM and it is highly regarded as "The Devil's Hour". I quickly hide inside my blanket since i was a child back then and the darkness scares the living crap out of me.
My intense wish to sleep finally came as i felt sleepy and fell asleep. When i woke up my parent told me that my friends, Will, Hank, Kiro, Jesse, Mark and Elisabeth disappeared and at first i found that concerning until i realized that they had lost the most last night. A police investigation was launched and they only was able to find Will, Mark and Jesse but Kiro, Hank and Elisabeth was never found but however they are able to find their remains, much to the shock of me and all of my friends. Will, Mark and Jesse was interrogated and they revealed that a pale, skinny person had kidnapped the six of them after hearing a loud bang, strangely only waking six of them. They told the officers that the kidnapper forced them to play First Served. Luckily Will, Mark and Jesse had the least lost and were let go. The other three wasn't so lucky. It haunts me to this day just thinking about playing the game again. This has never happened and it was just so random and coincidental. I could never imagine myself in their position and wondering what happen to Hank, Kiro and Elisabeth after the game. A day later my parent gave me a box that was directly for me. I opened it and inside is a card with a gaming laptop of my dream. The card reads "Congrats George! as a winner of First Served. How about i "Serve" my first customer. No strings attached really :)" As scared as i was, it was a nice gift.
