Harvest Moon's Nightmare
I remember, I used to play Harvest Moon Gba, the one where the main character is a girl. I remember that her name is Lily, and she was wooing Cliff. One day, after she went to bed, she awoke in front of her table, like usual, but she didn't eat her breakfast, instead she stated that something's wrong. I made her exit the farmhouse, and everything was colored red, the grass, the house, even Lily seems to be a certain shade of red.
Feeling nervous, I went to explore the town. Then I saw that everyone, save Karen and Cliff are either dead, gone, or dying. The dying ones all say the same things when I talk to them, "She did it. Stop her."
When I came to the town square, a cutscene played. It showed Cliff lying face down in the middle of the square. Anna rushed over and lay his head on her lap. It seems that Cliff was badly wounded, and he kept calling Lily his sister (I'm not entirely sure, but I think he might've been looking for his sister? I don't know that when I came upon this).
Suddenly, Karen showed up, looking like a madman. She said that she killed the Mineral townspeople and that she hated Mineral Town. She pulled out a sickle and started swinging it in circles. Then the game let's me control Lily again and forced Lily to fight Karen like she was a boss battle. I beat her with a hoe, then she fell down and didn't move.
Another cutscene played, Lily approached Cliff's body, then puts away the hoe and knelt down next to him. She seemed like she's crying and she said, "Brother..."
A sad song plays and the screen fades into black.
Suddenly I could hear birds chirping like in sunny mornings in the game, and the screen shows Lily, in front of her table, eating breakfast and commenting about how a weird dream it was. After that the game continues as normal.
I'm not what this is, but when I asked my mom about it, she said that she never experienced that kind of thing. I'm positive that I wasn't dreaming, but I'm not sure if anyone experienced this as well...
Later, I searched the internet, and apparently, there is a bad dream where the character fights Karen, but it's different from the one I experienced. Their dreams involve fighting Karen at the beach.
So far, I tried redoing the nightmare, but to no avail...
