He Hides Among the Living

On January 22nd of this year, there was a car crash in Ohio. It was the strangest day ever, not only because of the car crash, but the weather was also a bit odd. It snowed a bunch, and usually it doesn't snow too much in Ohio, not like it used to anyway.

It seemed like a normal day otherwise; my kids were making snow angels, my wife was making dinner, and I was making money. I got home that afternoon when we heard a loud siren, the noise was one complete siren, it didn't repeat itself, and it went on for about an hour.

It was loud but it was thin, I guess. Nobody knew what was going on, but my wife Molly turned on the Police Scanner and her face looked unsatisfied. My kids ran in the house scared, wondering what was going on.

Sam and Michael were only seven years old at the time. They didn't know what was going on, but we didn't know much more than they did. We heard talking on the scanner, but there were so many other sounds in the background that we couldn't make it out fully.

Then I heard it... we all heard it, and after we heard it we all knew what was going on. One man on the scanner, sounding scared out of his mind, was shouting, "TURN IT OFF! OH GOD!" and a second later my heart raced. I jumped, from the heavy sound of an explosion, it was a big explosion, the sound was nowhere near faint.

Ash fell all over the city, black smoke remained in the area where the explosion happened. It looked like a tornado of ash, but instead of spinning, it just rose up to the sky. They demanded us to stay inside until the ash stopped falling, and if we were in our car, to stop where we were and keep the windows sealed tight.

Fourteen people died in the city that day. The whole city was black, and nobody could leave their car or building until they had all of the ash cleaned up. And by 'they' I mean the men in the gas masks who took cars with large brooms on it to clear everything off, and the same men who stood in it and brushed it off our roofs with brooms.

It took three days until someone got to go outside, but something disturbed me on my way to work. They didn't clean up the ash where the explosion occurred yet, would take another few days, but it was just a big circle of black stuff. The road was blocked off except for the otherside of the road where it wasn't so bad.

But when I looked at it, I noticed footsteps walking away from the exploded car, coming out of the snow and ash. It was bear feet. I stopped and took pictures, but couldn't go too close.

I knew the men didn't even walk near the place that exploded yet, otherwise it would have been cleaned, and they even said that the ash in that area is highly toxic and could burn a man alive, even in a nuclear suit that they wore. So even if one of them did walk in there, why would they go barefoot.

It was reported recently after that, that the bodies should've been in pieces, better than it being ash, except only one was missing, the whole entire body. There are theories regarding that he survived that explosion, but how? That was a hell of an explosion.

More and more recently there have been cases of people seeing a deformed, naked, and burned man walking around, saying he knocked on their doors and begged to come inside. The stories seemed to match each other.

It's just a theory of mine I suppose, that this man survived. But one man claimed to see the deformed man knocking on the police station and a cop answered, shoving him inside and turning all of the lights off, and it was only a day after that that the man who told that story was murdered in his own backyard and the story stopped being told, as if nothing happened, and the cops act as if none of it ever happened.

There is a missing state law, that was privately told to us: "If you have the newspaper from the week of January 22nd, you will be arrested and put to death."
