Human Fur
About five years ago there were a series of reports about unexplainable disappearances in a small town near some woods. For some strange reason only women were reported to go missing in this town. The town has held searches for the missing, but their efforts were futile. Their bodies never turn up. It seems as though the women just disappear into thin air.
It was eventually known that the women only disappeared when they went into the woods near the town. The townspeople issued a warning for everyone to stay away from the woods, especially the women.
For a time these strange disappearances have stopped, but they have soon resurfaced once again. The women started to disappear even though they are not near the woods at the time. Some of them were even locked in their houses on the time they disappeared.
The disappearances when they were in their houses had either their windows open or some door that let someone or something inside. The townspeople had had enough of these disappearances and have decided to investigate.
According the disappearances the first time around, they were all near the woods, so everyone decided that the woods were the best place to start.
A group of volunteers were gathered and ventured into the woods to search for whatever was the cause of the disappearances of the women. They searched the woods for 3 days without finding any clues to what could have caused these disappearances.
Just as the group was about to give up one man noticed that there was smoke coming out of a deep part of the woods. They went to the place and noticed that it was almost impossible to find this part of the woods if it wasn't for the smoke, because it was so deep in and there was well hidden by rocks and cliffs.
The group of volunteers decided to go see what it was and found that the source of the smoke was from a cabin in the clearing. They knocked on the door, but nothing happens. They decided to knock down the door by force.
After they knocked down the door, the inside seemed like a normal cabin. They began to search, and one man noticed that the cause of the smoke was a fire that was cooking human arms and legs. The volunteer group was disgusted by this and some of them ran outside to throw up.
Another man noticed there was a door far into the back. They opened the door to find a mass of the corpses of the women went missing scattered around the room and with their scalps skinned out of their heads. Flies and maggots festered some of the older corpses. The smell was described by the volunteers as utterly horrid and made some of them throw up. But they must continue and find out who could have caused this.
They opened up another room in the back and found a slender man eating away at the intestines of one of his victims. The volunteers immediately proceeded to capture him.
The man resisted ferociously with a knife that he was holding. He killed four men and fatally wounded two of them before he was caught. The man was especially protective of a wardrobe he had in this room while he was resisting capture.
The volunteers opened up to find what was inside the wardrobe that he protected while he was getting captured. What they found was a very gruesome thing.
They found fur coats made of the hair and scalps of all the women he killed. The man was brought to trial and sentenced to death.
When they went to take him from his cell to execute him, he was found bled to death on the floor wearing a glove made from his own scalp.
