iCarly is a figment of Sam's imagination.

She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder from a very young age which lead to her violent behavior.

By the time she was 8 she was diagnosed with schizophrenia.

Over time she became more and more violent and lashed out at her parents which caused her father to leave and her mother became an addict to heroine and crack and shut out the entire world.

With her father gone and her mother ignoring her, Sam became very lonely so she had made herself a "twin" who was named Meloney who was her polar opposite.

But she still felt lonely.

So Sam began to skip school and wander around the city.

One day she ventured into an abandon apartment building that was closed down during the great depression when a gas leak caused an explosion in the upper levels but it was never demolished.

Soon she met the "ghosts" of the building but it was unknown if it was really her mind or actually ghosts.

Their names were Spencer, Carly, Lubert, Gibbey, Freddy, and Spencer.

Freddy was an A student who was born into a rich family who managed to keep enough money during the Great Depression to keep their home in the apartment. His mother was over-protective of him which led to his death. During the night of the explosion, Freddy wanted to go out drinking with his few friends he had. But due to his mother he had to stay behind. During the night while they slept they were killed in the explosion, burnt to a crisp.

Lubert was originally a happy and friendly doorman of the building who was not who he seemed. He was a pedophile who would lead children into his office and rape them. He was eventually caught by police and spent 5 years in prison before being realeased. During the time he had lost his home, wife, and his job. He became a bum that lived in an ally across the street from the hotel. One day he stormed into the apartment building and managed to sneak to the stop floor where he busted open a pipe filled with flamable chemicals and lit a match, killing him instantly in the explosion.

Carly and Spencer were the children of a Navy submarine captain and a woam who died while giving birth to Carly. Spencer was the head of the house and managed to get by by becoming a sculptor. Carly was a lively high school student who was always happy to help with people. On the night of the explosion, Spencer and Carly had gotten into a fight and it hurt Carly so much that she threw herself out the window of her bedroom. Spencer had gotten wasted afterwards and was passed out on the couch, covered in his own vomit. Spencer wasn't killed by the explosion but the fire it had made. Too drunk to realize his home was on fire, the fire had come in contanct with the booze rich vomit on Spencer's body that had made him burst into flames. He was slowly cooked alive.

Gibbey was the only person to die in the explosion that didn't live on the top floor. He lived on the 3rd floor of the apartment building and had a crush on Carly. He would drill holes in the wall of Carly's room from the storage room just next to Carly's room and would perv out. When Gibbey saw Carly jump from the window he was so heartbroken that he drank bleach from the storage room which eventually killed him.

Sam spent many years playing with her friends, skipping school and became farther away from reality.

One day she had gotten into her mother's heroine and tried it out, only to die from an overdose.

Her body was discovered years later in the building when they were going to demolish it.

And on her rotting face, was the smallest hint of a smile.
