In the Mind
When I awoke, he was there, standing over me, like an owl watching its prey. A knife held high above his head seemed to be looming over me as I stares at it, waiting for the moment that it would plunge deep into my heart.
He began to lower the knife down, but then stopped.
In an eerie voice, he said "Instead of killing you, I am going to use mind torture. You will be my first test. Let's hope that you are strong enough."
And then he fled.
The next day, I felt normal as I woke up, but as soon as I got to university, everything changed. I began to see pictures of his face flashing in front of my eyes. His eyes, nothing but lonely, black holes, with no feeling inside them. His face was shredded and his mouth was slit at the corners with blood oozing out. Dripping onto the ground. Then he started taunting me. He made me see things that weren't there. Hear things that weren't real and make people look different to how they actually look.
At lunchtime, I picked up a knife to cut my cake in half but I heard that eerie voice, this time it was telling that I should kill all of my friends and then stabbed myself. I tried to resist but I couldn't. I plunged the knife deep into my best friend and then carried on killing my 5 other friends.
Then I stabbed myself...
I gasped at the pain and felt the blood pouring out of me. I collapsed onto the floor in pain. Everyone else standing back, staring at the blood and bodies on the floor.
About 6 weeks later, I woke up, my hands, legs, head and waist tied to a wooden plank in what looked like a laboratory. I tried to sit up and a person wearing a lab coat and mask ran over to me and shoved a needle into my arm, immediately knocking me out.
While I was asleep, I was visited by the man whose fault it was that I was here in the first place, he said" You have proved that you are weak. You are now locked in a mental asylum indefinitely. I will continue to torture you and make your life hell until you die". Then he added,
"Have fun!"
My life was about to get much worse!
