Inanimate Insanity: Life
I think I speak for every object show fan when i say that the original inanimate insanity season 1 was god forsakenly cringe for its first few episodes/
The newer stuff is good, and quite emotional too. Some have even shed tears watching it.
But that doesn't change how much of a 2010s cringe fest the original few episodes before S1 improved was. Infact, it makes it even worse, making the first season look cringe in comparison to the newer stuff.
Now, I need to clarify, Im typing this out to you in 2022, not 2010 justin beiber trollface stuff.
This needs to be clarified, i feel.
Lets begin with the story.
I was vibin out on the internet watchin old vine comps while eating unbelievable amounts of food, practically becoming an angry cartoon character with the amount of red cheeto and dorito dust on me.
I leaned back, when i got a little notification. only one though, so of course i checked em'.
It was a new upload by AnimationEpic.
You know when youtube uploads that are new have that little "new" text close to the video?
Well, it had that, but the upload said it was made in Oct 30 2011.
I had to make sure i hadn't accidentally went onto the wayback machine, but no, i was just on normal youtube.
I looked into the comments to see that the comments were ripped from the comment sections of random inanimate insanity videos, but the usernames were misspelled.
I looked back up at the title to see that the title was apparently "Inanimate Insanity: Life" for some reason.
Why "Life" I wondered? what could that possibly mean? could there be a challenge that could kill the contestants? If that was it, it wouldnt be so strange.
The video began with a recap of episode 6.
After the recap, Apple was seen to be celebrating, jumping around the field, while Paintbrush and marshmallow sat down and talked.
Marshmallow said: "Can you believe we now almost have enough members to beat team chicken leg?"
Paintbrush responded: "Im just glad we arent on tacos team"
Before paintbrush could continue talking, Taco screamed "SOUR CREAM" at paintbrush, as he recoiled from fright.
Paintbrush said "Taco, cut it out!"
"SPRINKLES"
Marshmallow said: "Im just glad knife was eliminated!"
Paintbrush replied: "Yeah, he was a total" before they were censored by a 2010 Justin Bieber face. show was made in 2011, so what else do you expect?
I wasn't seeing anything out of the ordinary yet, just a basic inanimate insanity season 1 episode.
While watching, i began to realize this was supposed to be episode 7. It was an alternative episode 7.
The intro began to play.
I noticed that even though it was supposed to be episode 7, but the intro hadn't been halloweenified.
The only thing off about the intro was that mephone was facing the camera, and it just lingered on him for 6 seconds as the music skipped, before going back top normal. I noticed he had black bags under his eyes and looked stressed.
After the intro finished, elimination time began.
Instead of balloon being voted out, OJ was voted out and sent to the idiotic island, shattering on impact.
Mephone described the votes like in the original episode, and made the classic cookie joke. I had noticed there was nothing halloween related going on. It was day, mephone4S wasnt there, there was no candy corn and there were no haystacks.
That made sense, because according to the date, it said it was made Oct 30, and not Oct 31.
Mephone spoke in a bored sounding voice.
"alright guys, the next challenge will be to make the biggest fire in 1 minute. grab sticks and go."
Everyone obliged.
I quickly noticed he looked just as tired as he looked in the intro, but shrugged it off.
When the challenge began, everyone started to gather sticks.
Team epic ended up getting most of the sticks, and was winning.
Marshmallow worked the fastest, but was comedically burned by the fire after having made the biggest one,
Team chicken leg failed, because taco kept barfing, and bomb blowing up a comedically placed bucket of water onto their fire.
Balloon grabbed a whole tree, and chucked it into the fire.
Pickle responded with, "hey, isn't that unfair to the other teams?" before balloon responded with "Who cares? it'll help us win!"
Pickle responds with "Yeah, but thats cheating?"
Balloon snaps back with "YOU BETTER SHUT UP BEFORE I THROW YOU IN THERE!!"
The challenge eventually ended, and it cut to mephone crouched over sitting down in the elimination area, just sort rubbing his eyes and doing nothing but sit down at the edge.
He looked around, and sighed.
He eventually searched "How to create life" on himself as it zoomed in.
When he closed out, he was smiling. The eye bags were gone now, and he was smiling.
It cut to black for 3 seconds before cutting to everyone asking who was up for elimination, before mephone turned around and awnsered the question.
"Nobody. Theres another challenge. then we'll discuss elimination. The next challenge is to, uhh...umm... Build your base? yeah. whoever has the biggest base wins. Just wait for it to begin."
Everyone began to talk and question why he was doing this, because it just seems strange.
Mephone said, "dont you ever just wanna see how perfect flesh can get?"
Lightbulb responded, "uhhh... no?"
Mephone was zoomed in one, and began to take on this really, really uncanny look as he questioned lightbulb.
"You dont?"
The sky got little darker, before switching back to lightbulb, the sky now normal.
"No i really don-"
Mephone interrupted him and said "GO!"
Lightbulb shrugs, and Paintbrush said "I.. Okay?"
He handed them equipment and sent them off.
Team epic was winning again, marshmallow being alive but grey in color working just as hard.
Mephone stumbled in suddenly.
"You guys having a fun time?"
Lightbulb kept messing up and shattering himself, while marshmallow creates most of the base.
Team epic began to have a conversation.
This convo consisted of Marshmallow, Lightbulb, paintbrush, Apple,
Marshmallow said "Guys, i think we've built the best base already.
Lightbulb responds "yeah, i think so too."
Apple adds "I honestly think it looks quite steady!"
Marshmallow says loudly, "Wait guys, i have an idea!"
Paintbrush asks "Well, what is it"
Marshmallow awnsers, "what if we somehow blocked them off?"
Lightbulb: "I dont know, that might be cheating"
Mephone stumbles in again, somehow having heard it.
Mephone shouts, "No, its not at all!"
Apple responds with "Oh, its not? well, better get building!"
Team Chicken leg starts losing.
It shows team epic winning.
Balloon shouts "Oh come on guys!! We can do better than that!! I cant believe im on the WORST team so far!!!"
Salt says "Ok, jeez"
A couple minutes pass.
Team epic starts to triumph over Team Chicken leg.
It ends, and Team epic wins.
But mephone walks away, and tells them to stay in their bases.
The contestants begin to talk about whats going on.
Mephone suddenly comes in again.
"the flesh is putrid."
Lightbulb asks, "what?"
Mephone replies with, "nothing!"
Another convo happened.
Pickle says the bomb, "whats up with mephone?" In which bomb replies "I-I-I-I-I III-I-I D-Dont kn-know!" Salt says "I dont know, But what i do know is that me and pepper will never come apart!" To which pepper responds "Yeah!". Balloon says "Hes probably just tired. I dont care. I just know im the one winning the next contest!". Taco yells "PANCAKES"! while balloon is talking. Balloon says "Dangit taco! you are an IDIOT!"
Pickle said "Guys, I think i can see mephone again! whats he have to say?"
"Alright everyone, lets see how you react to perfect, unfiltered flesh!"
He snapped his fingers, and a bunch of realistic stock photo hands came out of the ground. I could hear organ noises as muffled agonizing screams were heard under the ground. He smiled with an evil look. Some of the hands were cartoony, while the others were realistic. They were dripping flesh, and fusing together.
The hands start taking apart the bases, and attempting to grab at people as they dripped. There was screaming coming from everyone. I saw Marshmallow run away off camera.
I swear i could hear cackling in MePhones voice all while people were screaming.
It zoomed in on pickles face.
It kept going to his face, before he said "oh no".
Pickle got up and started sprinting.
Pickle got caught by one of the hands, and they stuck on to him. Many hands had grabbed onto him, fusing his flesh to them. Something strange was seen, as the objects proceeded to show dark blood, which was censored just enough to see it.
I was pretty disturbed while watching the hands pop out of the ground and kill pickle. Suddenly, Balloon got caught.
Hands popped out of the ground, and grabbed them.
Balloon was repetitively stomping on the hands, making them bleed. All the while this happened, balloon was screaming in horror.
They eventually got pushed down by the hands, getting their jaw broken and bleeding.
Their screams eventually became gargled and distorted as their eyes melted and stuck onto themselves, as hands grew out of them like fungus before they popped like a normal balloon without blood.
"OMG!! I GOTTA RUN!!"
Salt was grabbed by the hands and got a leg ripped off, and the gore was censored with black boxes. It was censored in such a way that it looked like somebody realized there was gore and censored it last minute.
I heard and saw pepper yell "SALTY!!!" before getting grabbed by apple.
Marshmallow, Lightbulb, paintbrush, Apple, Bomb, Taco, and Pepper started running away from the danger as fast as they could.
"RUN RUN RUN!!!!!" shouted lightbulb as he ran.
Paintbrush, despite running, was caught by the hands and got his eyeballs gouged out.
When he fell to the ground, he didnt just melt like the others, he got his head bashed in, and you could see the censor bar get bigger each hit.
I heard Mephone say "Do not attempt to run from nature" before cackling again.
The ground near the hands started to pulsate like a heart, or somebody breathing"
The crowd, now consisting of Marshmallow, Lightbulb, paintbrush, Apple, Bomb, Taco, and pepper, was running while screaming hysterically.
Eventually, they got far away enough to survive. They sat down on the grass and talked.
Marshmallow, with the most realistic look of sorrow despair and fear in his eyes ive ever seen in an object show said "wha.... what happened?"
Pepper started sobbing.
"I... I cant believe we left salty behind!! I cant believe I left her behind!!!! im just... i.."
There was silence.
Then she broke down, screaming.
At this point, the voice acting was really good. I felt really bad for her.
Lightbulb said "What the hell is up with that guy? He just killed everyone out of nowhere!"
Pepper said "Im a horrible person. I killed salty!!"
Pepper broke down into even more tears.
Everyone gathered around pepper and comforted her.
The screen faded to black.
it cut back to mephone with stock image eyes, covered in blood.
He was walking around, yelling out "Where are they?" destroying objects around him, while screaming in anger.
The camera pans to the left.
The idiotic island.
nickel, baseball, knife, OJ, and paper are in the idiotic island.
Knife is holding the dora doll, nickel and baseball are reading, OJ is off to the corner and paper is just there.
Nickel says "Guys, do you hear rumbling?"
Baseball simply shrugs and says "its nothing"
Knife spoke up and said "I dunno, but if i have to throw you guys into anything for my sake and nobody elses, im wide open for that!"
Paper yelled, in an angry voice "Knife!"
Knife responded, "what? im just telling the truth."
Orange juice sighed, before speaking up and saying "I just dont know why i was eliminated."
It went a little silent.
Nickel says, "Listen, there it is again"
Knife said, "oh come on, its probably no-"
Suddenly, the hands appeared again as the cage was TORN away by the hands as the ground pulsated like organs.
Knife yelled out, "ITS NOT NOTHING! ITS NOT NOTHING!!"
Knife attempted running but he was caught by the arm and got his brain bashed out., his head shattering like glass.
Paper was picked up and ripped in half by the hands.
Nickel got his legs ripped off and his head smashed into the ground.
Orange juice managed to get away.
Eventually, OJ managed to find Marshmallow, Lightbulb, Apple, Bomb, Taco, and Pepper while screaming "HELP!" at the top of his lungs.
Marshmallow asked "whats wrong?"
OJ awnsered with "THERES GIANT HANDS COMING OUT OF THE GROUND!!"
Apple interrupted, and said, "wait, how far are you?"
They were quickly interrupted by a genuinely disturbing kafka esc sight. Mephone had the stock image eyes, his hands were big like the ones from the ground, and his legs were ripped off, leading him to have to use his arms. He had no mouth, and he was melting.
"this is just how it has to be"
Marshmallow Pulled out a cartoony button, and he pressed it, leaving the horriffic mephone to get his face bashed into a nearby tree, bleeding from the face because of it.
The tree got stuck to his melted flesh, and he kept on running, while screaming "i need more flesh"
Suddenly, the hands grabbed lightbulb, and mephone cut his arms off and gouged his eyes out, causing alot of blood, and for the flesh to melt and stick, and then turn on, and melt the flesh causing it to stick more. Pieces of mephone were falling off and liquifying on the ground.
Everyone started running from mephone, and they eventually found a hiding place.
Apple said "what do we do?"
Pepper just stared off into the distance.
It cut to pepper in a black void, hearing the calls of salt.
"Pepper! where are you?"
"Come here pepper! im over here!"
Pepper responded with "I cant see you! I cant see you!"
It cut back to real life as it proceeded to show pepper pulling out a gun.
It cut back to the void.
Eventually, she was seen.
"Pepper! There you are!"
Pepper ran over and hugged salt.
Once they touched, a loud crashing noise was heard.
It cut back to the real world, and it had shown pepper with the gun in her hand, dead, with her brains blown out, while everyone screamed, revealing the crash was pepper shooting herself.
Everyone screamed, but then went silent all of a sudden.
There was no sound.
Nothing making noise for 10 whole seconds.
10 whole seconds.
Nothing.
Suddenly, loud thuds were heard, and then mephone came while screaming, and violently bashed everyone with his enormous hands, having their flesh melt and stick to him.
He turned towards the camera, and every single corpse started dragging towards him, and fusing and melting and sticking to him.
He spoke as the corpses fused to him, and said some words.
"isnt life beautiful?"
it abruptly ended with pictures of the character assets on a black background.
Suddenly, my youtube crashed, and when searching the video up, it was gone. however, i did find very few people talking about it on the inanimate insanity subreddit.
I just dont know what to think of it, i would have reuploaded the footage if YouTube didn't crash.
I just sat there and wondered, why did that exist?
I still have the images of the corpses in my head, and they're pretty disturbing.
For a couple of days afterwards, he started unlisting and relisting random inanimate insanity videos on his channel, some even being privated before being brought back.
I just dont know really, if you have any information or proof of this episode existing, contact me. I wanna see that episode again and make sure it wasnt some dream.
