Jimmy McKill

I love Better Call Saul. I love that it takes place before the events of Breaking Bad and that it feels like a spin-off series in its own right. The acting is terrific, the story is compelling and it's genuinely interesting to see how it progresses. Well, that's what I thought of it at first. After this horrific experience, I will never look at the show or even the actors the same way again.

It was 3:00 AM on a Saturday night. I was about to finish up the first part of season 6, until my AMC+ app started glitching out. It had been doing this for a couple of weeks now, but this time it kept on buffering, making the show unwatchable. I tried restarting the app but that didn't help. Overtime it started to get worse with garbled text and glitched imagery of the show popping up on the screen. Fed up, I uninstalled the app and waited until the next morning to try again.

In the morning, I reinstalled the app and tried logging into my account. But something was very... off. The login screen was showing an account named "Jimmy McKill." The password was "FuckSucks." The AMC+ homepage was showing a Breaking Bad marathon, starting at the very first episode, which I had seen two weeks earlier. I was getting extremely annoyed at this point and was considering just pirating the rest of the season, but I am a very good person with upstading morals and would never consider doing something like that.

My phone then received a text message. The sender was "McKill" with the message saying "666. The remote." This made me damn near shit myself. I had no idea what it could be referring to, but my mind was made up. I had to get out of there. I grabbed my keys, wallet, and laptop, and was about to run out of my apartment, until the TV started playing the Better Call Saul main theme slowed down and reversed. I dropped my keys and slowly walked towards my TV. I had never been more scared in my life at this point. All of the sudden, Chuck McGill appeared on screen, staring directly at me. I had to turn my face away from the screen to keep myself from puking.

"Hello Jimmy," said Chuck. "I am afraid that your time has come."

I turned back towards the screen.

"But first, I must apologize for not killing you when I had the chance. I was a little busy killing everyone else."

Wait, I though Chuck had died earlier in the series. What is happening?

It then showed Chuck bending down and picking something up. What I saw next almost made me vomit everywhere.

"See you in hell, Jimmy," he said as he raised a syringe filled with a clear liquid and a small glass ball to his lips.

The screen went black.

That same night, I spent the rest of the night and most of the next day puking my brains out. I had never puked up that much blood in my life. Needless to say, I passed out. I awoke the next day, feeling like I had been run over by a truck. I didn't know if I should just go on with my life or if I should just kill myself, but I still had Better Call Saul on the mind. I genuinely couldn't tell if I was dreaming that whole ordeal up. I turned on my TV and things seemed normal. I then loaded up AMC+ and hoped for the best. To my surprise the app loaded completely normally. I selected Better Call Saul, and then, my heart sank. All of the seasons had disappeared and replace with a singular season titled "666" with one episode named "Jimmy McKill." I was so stunned at this point that I couldn't even feel anything anymore. I stood there with a blank stare and started the episode.

It starts with Jimmy in his apartment, frantic, and with blood on his walls. He proceeds to try to wipe the blood off, but it only seemed to spread. He then proceeds to try to call the police. They don't answer. It then cuts to the floor, showing that Kim had been brutally murdered. This completely shook me to my core. I tried watching the rest of the episode, but I just kept crying. I was so close to just turning it off but I persisted. Jimmy starts opening up his cabinets like he's looking for something. He seems to be extremely irrational and distressed. While he's ransacking the kitchen, he notices that a door opens. It then pans to none other than his brother, Chuck McGill, holding a bloodied and axe with blood stains all over his body.

"Chuck, what the hell are you doing?" Jimmy screams. "What the hell is going on? What the hell did you do?"

"What did I do? What did I do?" Chuck asks, confused. "What do you mean? I've been trying to kill you for years, Jimmy."

Jimmy breaks down crying, sobbing uncontrollably.

Chuck then proceeds to explain that he was a hitman for the Albuquerque Cartel, trying to kill Jimmy for not paying his dues. Jimmy seemed to be very shocked at this.

Chuck then lets out a chuckle "But then you came along and fucked me over." Jimmy keeps begging Chuck to tell him what happened.

"Jimmy, remember what you did to me with the whole battery incident? Don't you think I wanted revenge?"

"What the fuck are you talking about?" Jimmy cries out before Chuck swings his axe directly into Jimmy's skull, with fragments and brain matter splattering on the screen, cutting to Jimmy's body hitting the floor. I couldn't handle this. I let out a yell and threw the TV across the room, before breaking down sobbing. I had no idea how I was going to live with what I'd just seen. All of the sudden, I heard something come from the TV remote saying "Start a new season, Jimmy." I couldn't believe it.

I immediately ran and jumped out of the window of my apartment, hitting the hard concrete ground. I had never felt so much pain in my life. I immediately started puking, before the contents of my stomach came up. I continued to puke for a good ten minutes, before I felt my body stop.

I woke up in the hospital, feeling like I don't even exist. A doctor entered the room and explained that I had suffered a hemorrhaging of the brain, and if I had waited any longer, I would have died. I just stared at him blankly. I didn't know what the hell he was talking about. I had no idea how I had gotten from my apartment to the hospital. He then wishes me well and decides to play something on the TV. I was so out of it that I didn't even realize anything was happening until I heard the Better Call Saul main theme playing. Just hearing it put me into a frenzy. I start to have a seizure and fall off my bed, while experiencing massive brain bleed. I see a dark shadow over me. I then hear someone say my name. "JIMMY!" the voice yells, before my entire world fades to black.
