Joey Finally Feels the Sunshine
Joey was a good lad. He never got into trouble, and, in his friends' eyes, he was a hardcore gamer.
One day he was enjoying a nice glass of coca-cola, and looking at cheats for games.
He had heard of one game before, named Sonic R. He had just gotten the game, and had beaten it. In the Easter eggs, he saw one peculiar cheat called “the tails doll curse”.
He clicked on it, and it opened up.
He started reading.
“If you hate curses, then you MUST leave this dusty secret behind. In any way, IF you attempt this, you will die. First, make sure you have your copy of Sonic R.”
He scoffed. Of course he had Sonic R! Why would he be looking at cheats for it if he did not have it?
“Make sure you have beaten it 100 percent and unlocked the tails doll. Select tag mode, as the tails doll. Now you have started. Now take your controller and tag everyone other than super sonic. Once this is done, THEN tag Super Sonic.”
Hell yah! He thought. He dialed his friends’ numbers and told them about the curse. They made a night of it. They each would bring something to eat.
He decided to erase everything, to make it fun. Once the night came, they poured some pop, prepared their barbecue chips and started playing.
“Ugh, this music sucks!” said one friend.
They all agreed, and once the next race was over, they turned the volume off all the way. They took out a radio and played other video game soundtracks. Finally, time had passed.
They had 100% completion. Now, the tails doll curse. They grabbed some extra soda and picked up their controllers.
Joey did not feel right at this point. He did everything he could to avoid one friend, who was playing as the tails doll, and keep the curse from happening.
But something strange happened, the tails doll player passed out from exhaustion, but the tails doll was still moving. This happened after the player had tagged everyone.
Joey was glued to the screen. For at least an hour, he went around the track at least 100 times. Joey started singing along with the music.
“Can you feel the sunshine? Does it brighten up your day? Don’t you feel like sometimes, you just need to run away?”
“Wait, what?” the one who was playing as the Eggrobo, noticed this was not live and learn. He had put the Sonic Adventure 2 battle soundtrack on, not the Sonic R soundtrack.
Wait, Joey did not own a Sonic R soundtrack, in fact he hated the music. He opened up the CD drive, and had found the Sonic R CD with blood on it in the CD player.
“Holy shi-” a knife slashed through his neck. He fell to the floor.
An orange plush was standing over the dead bodies, err, floating.
They where all dead.
“You will never feel the sunshine again…”
The doll from hell is a serious thing. Only he was the one to stop this. He will never.
