Joseph Floyd

Joseph Floyd was an urban legend my friends would tell each other to get scared. It's not well known. It starts with a boy named Joseph Floyd who becomes best friends with a girl named Melissa. They were best friends ever since 5th grade.

When they graduated in high school, he decided to propose to her. While Joseph was looking for Melissa, he couldn't find her. He decided to go to her house the next day. While he was driving to the grocery store to buy some food, he saw a group of men attacking Melissa. He called the police and the men got arrested. Joseph drove Melissa to the hospital because she was in bad shape. The doctor told Joseph that Melissa had internal bleeding, STD, and skull fracture. She had to stay in the hospital for a few months.

Several months past and Joseph went to visit Melissa. When he asked the doctor how she was, It turned out that she died a few days ago.

Joseph became suicidal. He went to the rooftop of a tall building and jumped off. Shortly after Joseph's death, the men who attacked Melissa went missing. The bodies were found the same place Joseph committed suicide. Later on more people started to die. All of the people were Melissa's enemies.

The coincidence doesn't stop here. They all died the same place Joseph committed suicide. They died the same time Joseph did (8:38 PM). They died the month and day Joseph did (8/3). This is where it gets creepy... Joseph's favorite number was 838. They say that Joseph's spirit was never at peace. His ghost made Melissa's enemies insane. This caused them to be suicidal. People claimed after listening or reading this urban legend that they saw Joseph Floyd at 8:38 PM.
