Kirby's Ghost Ride

A while back I randomly decided to go back and get some old gamecube games I no longer had I started with Zelda Wind Waker, Then mario sunshine, Luigi's mansion, and eventually my list came to Kirby's air ride. I looked store to store for the game, no luck. But there was one guy at my local flea market who had a bunch of gamecube games, ( I got my Wind waker for him) and he said he didn't have it, I came back a week after week never actually paying any attention to the other stands, one day I started looking in this one man's dvd tent thing(I don't know what else to call it) and as I skimmed through I found a small game section in his shop, I looked through, and there! I had it I found Kirby's Air Ride! but something was wrong the cover In Japanese he is smiling, In English he's mad, On this one he was frowning with tears in his big round eyes. I asked were he got it and the man said he doesn't remember, and that he only really knows about the dvd's. I bought the game and didn't have time to play it. I put in a game stand I have, I placed it along with my other gamecube games thinking I'll get to it later.

A couple days passed and I hadn't played it yet cause I was waiting to play it with a friend, well he came over and I popped the disk in. Unlike the usual intro were kirby fights the sword and broom guys, i skipped it and went to the part were kirby fights metaknight on the cliff but it wasn't Metaknight or day, or even over water. The sky was a reddish black color and the water was lava, the wierdest of all was that it wasn't even Metaknight but a tall hooded figure with a sythe. Kirby was still going toward him but facing the opposite direction as if he was being pulled in. It faded to black and then the title screen was the same but noticeably darker. The music was slower that's all. We went to city trial and started but it was night time in the game(it normally isn't like that until and event occurs)but a tiny bit darker. The stats were all negative (exxcept the health ) and the stat names were changed from HP to Hope,Charge to Chance(I assume of survival), Deffense was Pain,Offense was Miseary,Weight was the only one that stayed the same. (I don't remeber the rest, I don't like thinking about it) The city buildings appeared battered and ranshacked, all except the roofs. The meteor event happened quite often, Insted of dynablade in said Htaed has appeared yet no one came, then I relized it was death backwards and started to flipp out a little bit. I held cool the whole time relizing something was wrong ad this put me over the line. I pressed start to stop the game and then I looked at my stats and Hope was 0, I was sure i grabbed a couple of Health or Hope, my friend talked me back into the game saying he waas still rather curious were this would go. The timer went as it went off both our veichle exploded, we went to a mini game called EobE and I still don't get it, It was destruction durby in the kirby melee 2 area, but filled with Waddle courpses and splatterd in blood, we attacked each other with swords whiched seemed to be the only power available, but after we blew up kirby would inhale randomly, we even tested it after I believe the fourth KO. I didn't know what it meant nor did I want too. Then we played a 3 minute game, the next mini game was Fate of Dreamland and it put me in Kirby melee 1, but after we slahed the enemies with sword (which was again the only power and I made us have it) they didn't blow up into stars but gushed blood every were and satyed on the ground, after my second kill I shut the am off and threw it, and its case away.

I now own the legit game and still enjoy it none the less. It's a great game.
