Kirby World: The Pilot From 2015
Remember the YouTube Kid's/Youtube Red Show, "Kirby World!"? It was about a pink puffball named Kirby who has fun with his friends Suzie, Waddledee , and Ribbon in the city of Planet Popstar. They also solve everyday problems like telling the truth, sharing, and others. I was a big fan of the show when I was little. I had all the DVDs and merchandise until my mom sold it a few years ago. My name is Jonny. I want to tell you the creepiest thing I have ever seen in my life.
I went to the local Goodwill to find DVDs of my favorite shows such as Pac-Man Adventures and other shows. I came across a VHS that had Kirby on it. I was confused. Kirby had a VHS Release? I looked at it. The cover had Kirby looking rather sorrow with a chainsaw to his head.
I took out the tape and it said, "KIRBY WORLD 2015 PILOT (NOT TO BE SHOWN TO PUBLIC)".
The early reel of the show meant things were different, so I bought it. I got Burger King, put it in the VCR, and pressed Play. The Paramount logo started, which I thought was confusing. I thought Hasbro/Nintendo did the DVD Releases.
The video started with text that read: "This Early Reel of the upcoming show "Kirby World!" contains blood and gore. DO NOT WATCH UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!" I dismissed the text as a sick joke.
A Youtube Kids logo popped up.. This show was owned by YouTube Network /YouTube Kids, so there might be no worry. the logo was pretty off, but also slightly direful. The 2 Mascots Red And White (YouTube And Kids) Were Being Crushed To Death. I got a little scared.
The Kirby World! intro came on, but I noticed that it was different. The Woddle Doo Said Kirby It's Time To Play, but kirby burned him He said his usual "Hi Hi Everybody! My name is Kirby!" line, but he said it in a sad way. walked slowly instead of using his puffybody to get down to the slide. When Kirby got down, he fell. Kirby looked depressed for the whole intro. I also noticed that Suzie looked annoyed, like if something she disliked happened, and Waddledee was scared seemingly for his life. What happened that made them so unhappy? The sky was pitch dark, and Popstar Planet looked like a ghost planet of some sort. When Kirby says his "Hi" at the end, he says it sadly. The title card came up. It read, "The Worst Moment in Popstar Planet".
Kirby had a gun to his head, Suzie was hanging from a noose, and there was a corpse of Waddledee. The background was a mix of black and red, and there was a small 66 at the bottom of the words, almost ultimately complicated to find. The episode started. Kirby was playing with his toys, until he got to the Crazy Doo. Kirby said, "You wanna play with my Toys?" The Crazy Doo said, "Your Body is Crazyyyy!" Kirby paused for a moment and whispered, "Crazy? Crazy!?" Kirby finally yelled, "Crazy!? I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT'S CRAZY!!"
Kirby twisted the Crazy Doo's neck. I gasped in horror like if Kirby was an R-Rated thriller show/movie. Kirby went to Suzie's Workshop and proclaimed, "Hi Hi Suzie! You wanna play with my Toys?"
Suzie responded with, "Oh, sorry Kirbo, but I'm working on an Invention!"
Kirby said, "Yeah right."
He then ripped Suzies hand off and dropped a stone on her head. I paused the video and threw up in the bathroom. I then thought to myself, "Why was Kirby killing everyone just because they didn't want to play with his Toys?"
I pressed Play again. Kirby went to Walldedoos's place.
Waddledee, "Said Kirby, why did you Kill Suzie?" Kirby bellowed, "BECAUSE THEY WON'T PLAY WITH MY TOYS WITH ME!!!!! PREPARE TO SAY HELLO TO HELL, WalldeDee!!!"
He got a pistol, and Walldedee let out a bloodcurdling scream. Kirby pulled the trigger. WalldeDees dead body was shown for thirteen seconds, and there was static for three minutes after that. Kirby held up what looked like ten round black fuse bombs. he stared at the viewer for five minutes. It was unnerving for me. He then lit the bombs and put them all around Popstar Planet. he then whispered "5, 4, 3, 2, 1!!!!", the bombs then later got detonated and what looked like a fraction of all energy of a nuclear explosion rose up and created a shockwave which saved Kirby. Popstar Planet was now gone, and only the remnants of the Planet itself , Grass, and overcooked flesh remained.
The screen faded to black. An image later popped up. It had Kirby with Red eyes and horrifically grinning with big teeth. There was French text on top of the screen. I translated the text, and it said, "When your friends are dead, suicide is the only option." I was shaking. A demonic voice screamed, Kirby IS GOING TO GET YOU AND KILL YOU TO YOUR DOOM!!!" I jumped skidding around my head. Another image came on the screen, they were the corpses of Kirby, Suzie, and Walldee.
There was no short or song. The credits were just black text scrolling on a white background. The usual instrumental for the show played, but it was highly sistorted. The copyright date read 2015, the same year that Hasbro announced the show premiering on YouTube Kids
The logos were also chaotically intriguing as horror. Hasbro logo had the Smile A Frown, blood splattered everywhere. and the Nintendo logo had the star colored blue.
It finally ended. I never looked at Kirby World the same way again. I kept the tape in a safe for the time being. I didn't sleep for the rest of the night. It might have been that Kirby image before the credits started. I looked up Kirby World Pilot on Yahoo, but nothing came up. I asked my friend about the Pilot of Kirby. he says he knows about it and there are ten copies circulating in existence. I got beyond ballistic at this point. I went back home and watched other shows like Pac-Man Adventures and BFDI to cheer me up. If you find a copy of Kirby Early Reel, stay away from it at all costs!
