Liar

You lied! You said monsters didn't exist! How stupid were you?! I am no longer one of you, anymore. I am... stronger, now... I have abilities you humans could never imagine. I am among you, but you would never know, as I look just like the average human; I could be anyone.

I could be the cute girl who works in your office, I could be the hot guy across from you at the bar, I could be your child and you would never know. You see, I want you to think I'm normal, that I'm harmless, but, you see, I am one of the most dangerous creatures out there.

You know that feeling you get when you're asleep? That feeling that someone or something is watching you? Well someone is, and it's me. I am invading your mind trying to find your worst fear, then when the time is right I strike. I am a very patient predator; my goal is not to kill you though... no, you wish it was as simple as that. I want to make you scream, I want to make you piss/shit yourself. I want to feed off your fear. I smile knowing that soon I will be full, and then, I'll make you one of us: the ones in the shadow, haunting humanity's dreams since the first ape learned to walk upright.
