LittleBigPlanet Deploy Build
Hi there, so a few days ago I was scrolling around on Google, and I found this copy of LBP on a Russian Website called "LBP Deploy Build". So, I read the description, and here's what it said "эта копия littlebigplanet НЕ для эмулятора, вы должны скопировать ее на свою консоль playstation3, эмуляторы не работают на этой копии, спасибо. [this copy of littlebigplanet is NOT for an emulator, you must copy it to your playstation3 console, emulators do not work on this copy, thank you.]" So, I downloaded it, I took my USB and copied it to my PS3, it took me a little bit to fully get it on my PS3, but I did it.
So, I started up the game, and it asked me to update the game, so I did. After the update, the game started, and I was ready to play. My Sackboy dropped into the pod, and I proceeded to go to the story mode, and play some levels. But they were all just the normal levels, so I went to the LittleBigStore due to me not being able to play with anyone or community levels. There was a story mode package called "Deploy Levels". I pressed on it and looked through the level options. I chose a level called "test2", as I wondered if there was a test1 level.
I spawned in, and started playing through the level, the background was gardens. The level was abnormally long and didn't reach the normal level limit. Once I finished it, I played another, this time called "seaside_main_1-obstaclecourse". So, when I spawned it, the theme was something I had never seen before, maybe something unreleased, I kept on playing, as the level got harder. When I got to the leaderboard, I saw a username other than mine, it was just a dash. I was confused on why it was there, since I didn't see it before. When I got to the pod, the pod music didn't play, which I thought was just a bug. I decided to go to the moon, when I spawned in, the thermometer suddenly just disappeared, and I got a notification telling me that I had no limit to what I could create. I was surprised, because the game itself has a limit to creation in levels.
So, I just started to create my level, after finishing my level, I saved and exited the level. It asked me if I wanted to name the level, and I said no. But it still showed the box for naming. So, I named it "Deploy Level". After that, I went to the story mode, and I decided to play first steps, I spawned in, and started playing through the level. Weirdly, when I got to the respawning tutorial, when I popped myself, my game froze for a few seconds, and went black. The game would unfreeze, and it looked like I was in the introduction level. I walked to the right and started going down a slope. Suddenly, a lever fell from the darkness. I was bit hesitant about pulling it, but I was intrigued to see what would happen, so I made my Sackboy go over to it, and pull it.
My PS3 would suddenly start to overheat, and my game would snap back to the gardens level. In the top right of my screen, I got a notification with an exclamation mark saying "XNRKxnkeNEui_started". I wondered what I was, yet I ignored it. My PS3's fan would start to get louder, and I'd continue the level. Now, I don't know what was going on with the game, but suddenly my game's quality would begin to decrease, and get worse. It got worse to the point where I could hardly hear or see what was going on, so I maneuvered my way out of the level.
Instead of me spawning into the pod, I spawned into this dark level. The audio was muffled, and my Sackboy's expression was blanker, it started to scare me. I proceeded to move forward, until I got to a button on a wall. An invisible magic mouth told me press it. I did, and suddenly, my game started to distort, and Sackboy's face would appear on screen, he would start to fade away into the darkness, and he would wave goodbye to me. "Before I go, would you like to play one more level?" The screen said, I had the option to say no [O] or yes [X]. I chose X, I felt like I didn't have enough will power to say no. The game would fade to the loading screen, it would say "Loading game data..." I was worried things on my PS3 would get on corrupted. When I spawned in, muffled music would play that I've never heard in LBP. I opened my stickers menu, and hovered over my Sackboy with a sticker, I would see a Sackboy model not akin to the normal one, it was poorly made, and it started to glitch out, I decided to proceed on with the level. It was a platforming one, the game told me I had three lives, and if I died the game was over, I would die two times, but luckily get to the end, the whole thing started to almost fade from my mine, as if it didn't want me to remember this, but I was luckily able to remember some of it. I finally got to the end, and saw a Sackboy staring at the wall, and then it turned to my Sackboy. "So, you made it through my level, I'm impressed, not everyone has been able to make it." It said. "I want to say thanks for playing the game, if it wasn't for you, I would have still been stuck inside this game. You don't understand how happy you've made me. But I cannot allow you to remember these things, because this is was not supposed to be found, I am sorry." It then said my name, I was startled how sentient this thing was.
Stephen Fry's voice would then start to fade in, saying "Thanks for playing LittleBigPlanet, we hope you c-" His voice cut out, and my PS3 shut off, I heard three beeps, and then a fourth LOUD beep. My PS3 wouldn't turn on. I tried to get it repaired as quick as possible, it couldn't be fixed, and I had to buy a new one. But I couldn't sign in, or create a new PSN account. That thing in the game corrupted everything, and my game consoles.
