Lost Things

Hello. I am Eliza. My mom is a dataminer and likes looking for lost bits of games. So, let's get on with the story.

I just got Animal Crossing New Horizons, and I was curious what lost bits were hidden in the game. So, I asked my mom if she could look through the files. She agreed, and she found some things. Lost hairstyles, lost clothes, etc., etc. But the most interesting files were files for villagers. Not like the normal animal villagers. The human villagers you would play as. So I asked my mom if she could input them, and after a bit of begging, she agreed.

We put them in. These villagers weren't normal. One of them had unused boy hair, and had solid white skin, and no eyes. He also had unused clothes. His shirt was a blue t-shirt with multiple pink hearts on them and had pink heart pants. When I went to talk to him, everything was blank. Another one had unused girl hair, and solid black skin. She had a unused purple sweater and blue pants. When I went to talk to her, the text bubble filled up with "HAHAHA". It went out of text bubble. Now, lets get onto the last one. Again, she had unused girl hair. But she... she had no clothes. Don't worry, it wasn't showing anything. On her head, she had a single eye. On her stomach, she had another eye. The thing is, she has Nova Lights protruding out of her.

I thought Nintendo just wanted to scare us, so I kept playing. Boy, what a mistake that was. A week later, one of the normal villagers house turned white and around it was white. After a few weeks, everything was white. Except for them and their houses. I was done with this.

I removed the cartridge and broke it. I told my mom, and she was worried. But she said it could have been a virus. My mom has forgotten it, but I'm scared of lost content and I'll never look for things thats forgotten.
