Man-Hunt
Four kids were having a sleepover, and were watching TV.
At around 8:30 PM, they decided to play "Man-Hunt". It is a game, sort of like hide and seek, but in the dark... and whenever you find someone, you need to tag them and they become "it" with you.
When the kids walked outside, the youngest one opened the garage door. He grabbed a skateboard and a scooter. The youngest took the skateboard, and the oldest took the scooter. The oldest kid began to run outward farther in the neighborhood, while a friend counted inside the house. The oldest one ran towards a big log, and hid behind it. His brother ran to him to tell him something.
"Dude, get away!" the oldest kid whispered. "I'm trying to hide! We all need to spread out."
The youngest then ran behind a tall tree and ducked down. This way the person who was "it" would not see him. When he peeked out from behind the big tree trunk, he saw someone staring back in the bushes.
He saw someone dressed in black quickly run across the street. Looking back in the bushes, he still saw that contorted body with a head, just staring at him. However, behind this odd shape, he saw a flashlight moving around in the driveway. He ran up to the house and went over to his third friend, who was hiding.
They heard a voice.
"I think he's dead..."
"He's dead."
"What?"
"I think he's dead."
They quickly ran, but the person who was "it" jumped out. The two kids tried to hide behind the closest bush, until he found them. After they went and found the last kid, everyone started arguing.
"I walked over there, and-"
"No! I was in the car and someone came-"
"Wait! How did he get over there if-"
They kept arguing, until they realized something that they had not figured out before.
There was someone else playing.
They were guessing that someone was joking with them, yet there was no one in sight. One of the kids turned around, and saw the shape in the bushes again. This time, its contortion was facing the other direction.
The shape began moving.
"Oh crap! Look! Someone is in the bushes!"
They all quickly turned to look at it. As they were all looking at it now, it turned its head instantly to stare at one of the boys, who had seen it when he hid behind the tree before. This stare started making the boy dizzy. His vision became darker and darker, until he could not see.
Then he could not hear.
Then he could not speak.
However, in his mind, he could see it.
He saw its whole body. Its head was almost in the shape of a fish, and all blue. It was tall, and had huge hands attached to its long arms. They nearly touched the ground.
It began to chase him. The creature was very fast, despite running abnormally. It was almost as if each side of its body shifted with each step it took.
Eventually it caught up to him, grabbing the boy with its large hands. It turned him around to face it, staring into his eyes once again... that was when...
The kid woke up, all confused. That was when he realized something—he had passed out for a few minutes while he was asleep at his friend's sleepover. None of this actually happened.
