Metroid Nightmare

Hello everyone, I am a metroid fan. Or, at least, I WAS. Not after what happened.

I bought a SNES three months ago with Prince of Persia 2 (but it's not about that). Then, one week ago, I decided to search a copy of Super Metroid on eBay, since I have Metroid Fusion. I live in Europe, and so I only found one PAL copy. It was €10 for only the cartridge. Pretty weird because games like that cost like €30 or €40, anyways I bought it, thinking how lucky I am. I wasn't lucky.

When I received it, I dashed to my room like I did when I got my N64, and I immediately put it in.

The title screen was okay, but for a moment I heard a buzzing sound. I started it, and when I got in the game, I wasn't Samus. Samus was darker than usual and the visor was yellow. The health bar counted 999. Then I heard some loud sound coming from my window. I jumped back. There was nothing. After calming down, I began playing. The plot was completely different. It talked about the "protagonist" trying to destroy the Evil. What? The Evil? In Metroid? Anyway, I began running. The game changed to a cutscene after the first door. The armor got down on the floor. After that, my character's armor color changed. It was black. He looked at the screen for a couple of seconds... Then there was Samus in front of my character.

She charged her weapon and fired. My health went down but instantly regenerated. The screen went black. I heard a buzzing noise again. Then, all the textures were distorted, looking darker. I was that black guy, and Samus was running away. The instructions of the mission looked like if they were in an alien language. The objective screen closed and the black guy started running. Chasing Samus. He kept shooting missiles and suddenly he teleported behind her. The screen went red. Then it showed me a picture of a dead Samus lying on the floor.

It zoomed to the killer's face. And then it got a message on his visor. It said "Part 1 completed". The screen went black again with a red text. "You are Evil."

The cartridge got out of the SNES and began burning.

Now the cartridge disappeared. At least, apparently.
