Minecraft Anti-Piracy Screen

Minecraft was a game I've always wanted to play. From what I've seen, it seems like a fun and immersive game that allows me to let my imagination go wild. Although the only downside is that it costs money, and I have none.

So I scoured the internet to find a way to download Minecraft for free.

After a bit of searching, I did manage to find a website that allowed me to download Minecraft for free. I clicked the download link and before I knew it, I had downloaded Minecraft for free. I booted it up, made myself an account, got myself a world and began to play.

I was on that world for about a good 20 minutes building houses and killing creepers when everything suddenly froze. I assumed it was just a lag spike and waited it out. Then suddenly everything went black for a few seconds. I was starting to get confused. Did my computer die or something? Suddenly, it returned to the game, but this time everything was different.

The whole area was on fire, the house I had made had completely turned to black concrete, all the trees had all of their leaves gone, the ground was red sand, and everything in my inventory was gone. At this point I thought I got hacked or something. Then suddenly, a random player joined my game. Their username was simply, ¨STOP,¨ and their skin was simply all black with red glowing eyes. They appeared in front of me and typed something in the chat . that read something like this:

¨PIRACY IS NO GAME!

This is a pirated version of Minecraft. Video game piracy is a serious crime and will result in 5 years in prison and a fine up to 250,000$. Video game piracy can jeopardize future game development by leaking files, textures and other aspects of the game.

EXIT THE GAME NOW!¨

I wasn't just gonna delete all my hard earned progress. It took me long enough to be able to download this so I wasn't just gonna let it all go to waste. So I simply responded, ¨no,¨ in the chat.

I can tell that this person was starting to get a little mad because he then whipped out an enchanted netherite sword and a golden apple, and typed again in the chat. This is what he said:

¨Delete this game now or we will use the force. Don't underestimate us.¨

I was starting to get a little annoyed with this guy. So I told the guy to screw the hell off and that he can't control me. At this point, he was starting to get absolutely furious. So he typed in the chat, ¨Ok then... have at you.¨

Suddenly, a spawn egg appeared in his hand. He then began to zoom around the area placing creepers, zombies, skeletons, enderman, and even a few withers. And because I was in survival mode, all of those mobs came to attack me. Considering I had no weapons of means of defense, all I could do was run, so that is what I did.

I ran for dozens and dozens of blocks in hopes I could outspeed the hundreds of mobs chasing after me, but it was no use. The mobs had overwhelmed me, and my health withered away faster than I could even run. After I had died, my screen turned red for a few seconds, before showing my dead lifeless body of my Minecraft character, lying there, motionless. Red text was above it that read, ¨We warned you...¨

After that, my computer shut down. I tried turning it back on, but nothing would work. My computer had been rendered null and void, and it was all because I just had to install a pirated version of Minecraft.

I was incredibly upset, but it did teach me a valuable lesson at the same time: DON'T downloaded pirated versions of games, or there will be consequences, as seen here. I know I sure as hell won't be doing something like this again. If I wanna get a game that costs money, I'm willing to pay the full price for it.
