Minecraft Lightning
I woke up at around 11:15 am on Saturday the 27th October 2012, It was just a normal morning like always, Wake up, I go to the bathroom then have my breakfast. I was very bored so I wanted something to do. Now I don't mean a bike ride or anything of that nature, Something that doesn't take much effort. I walked into my room and scanned for something to amuse me. I ended up thinking my Xbox 360 would be just fine.
I picked up my controller, sat down and started to play one of my favorite games, Minecraft. When I loaded up the game everything was fine and normal. I created a new world then started to gather the basic building materials.
After about half an hour of roaming around, I found a village! I was quite happy seeing this due to the fact that I had never found one before. I looked around and found a nice cozy house which I took it upon myself to move into. I made a bed and some chests to put my items into. The sun started to set and I got in bed and slept till the next morning.
In Minecraft I like to set goals to do each day, so I started on a quest to collect coal, iron and even diamonds if I was lucky enough. I made myself a stone pick and shovel and headed out. I looked around my village for a bit to no avail until I came across something very odd.
Okay now this is where it gets weird...
I found a 1x1 hole leading down into the world below, Lit with torches and everything. Now this was a new world and I had never even seen this hole until now. The world was on peaceful so Endermen couldn't have dug it.
I built up the courage to head down this "Mine-shaft". Now this was a deep and I mean really deep tunnel. After walking down this tunnel for about 1 or 2 minutes, it finally came to an end and spread out in to a large open space. This space was unlit and had a very odd felling to it, almost like being watched. I felt a bit uneasy, so I left as quickly as possible.
I wanted to be more "Prepared" for what was to come.
I played the game as normal and collected a hefty amount of iron. I was ready to face what ever was down that shaft.
I made myself a set of iron tools and armour and walked over to the hole.,
Yet again, I walked for several minutes until I reached the bottom, but this time... the big open space was made of netherrack and some of it was lit. I froze still, i almost dropped my controller, I was so scared. This can't be real is all I can remember saying to myself. The room had one exit on the far side, as i walked over the the exit. I had the feeling I was being watched again.
As I walked out of the room, it was just like any other cave system. With iron and shit loads of coal, You know what I mean... I walked through the cave for a while and I started to forget what had happened... Until it started.
I was almost on bedrock surrounded by lava, there is no way of seeing the outside world for a while.
The loudest noise of thunder starts... I pretty much shit myself...this went on for about 10 minutes until I started to see flashes from all paths in the cave. I did manage to capture this on camera. Which I will be posting soon....that's if I'm still here.
A minute after seeing the flashes my Xbox turned itself off. I don't have a clue why this happened. I turned my Xbox back on and loaded Minecraft back up to see all my saves gone. All my work was gone, but this wasn't the thing that freaked me out.. There was one save that I had never seen before called: "Lightning.png"
I don't know what sick twisted fuck had done this to my Xbox, or what he was trying to do to me but it was not funny. I tried to open the save and play it but my screen went black and my Xbox turned off again.
I stopped playing Xbox for a while and stuck to YouTube and Facebook. I thought it was over until i found a file in my pictures.
The file that was in my pictures was called "lightning.jpg"...I..I just stared at this file for what seemed like hours. I finally opened it...Why...Why did I open it...
I have to leave now, I can't stay here...Weird stuff is happening. If you get this spread the word and whatever you do, never open lightning.jpg.....
