Miss Melancholy

Miss Melancholy comes at night,

She creeps within your mind.

She knows when you are happy,

She knows when you're alone.

Miss Melancholy wants to kill you,

Your sorrow is her food.

She strikes when you are lonely,

She strikes when you are weak.

She knows what makes you angry,

She knows what makes you tick.

She takes your happiness,

And then she takes your life.

Miss Melancholy took them,

The lives of happy men.

She knows when they are sleeping,

She knows when to attack.

Watch out for Melancholy,

She's coming for you next.

Miss Melancholy greets you,

She tells you not to cry.

I know just what she's thinking,

Because I know her ways.

I was her fourteenth victim,

And you will be the last.

Beware of drowsy thinking,

She kills you when you sleep.

You can't stay up forever,

You have to sleep at night.

I know you won't escape her,

Nobody ever does.

You're next in line, so sleep now,

Let dreams take you away.

And if you think you're lucky, you just might die real fast.

Now don't you worry, young man,

This won't take long at all.

She'll kill you at the blink of an eye,

And then she'll eat your soul.

You thought you could escape her,
