Mr. Telegram - The Lost Nick Jr/Noggin Show

Nick Jr seems to be having a bad track record of greenlighting shows that would deemed to be disturbing for kids. The only one time when the show pushed it's limits was Happy Appy but that was thankfully canceled rightfully and was never seen again. According to current children who saw Noggin, back in 2004, a new show was planned to be released in the lifespan of the Noggin/Nick Jr Preschool block. The show was called "Mr. Telegram" a traditional-animation-style show with a cartoony news anchor named "Telley Telegram". He would often read fanmail sent by him or would talk about Noggin News, often playing a make-believe gameshow called "Telley's Tell-em-Answer-Uppins", a gameshow trivia game where you answer and vote for a selected episode of Noggin shows that was still airing on Noggin.

It released 3 seasons, but, the show was getting more sinister. In the 7th episode of the 2nd season, Telley reveals that his game is actually about brain washing, communism and even showed footage of recent scary events that might turn some heads for some adults who have kids. The show actually had a canceled movie called "Telley's Big Movie!" but the plot was when Nick Jr and Noggin decided to cut the show off because it was going off the deep end. The movie and show was quickly removed due to the brutality and extreme topics the show talked about.

The last episode faded in with a mint green titlecard saying "Telley's Christmas". It started with Mr. Telley greeting everyone before diving into the news. "Our top story, demonic cultists are sacrificing people for the..." He was cut out when it showed a montage of things that are LITERALLY not for kids. The only example can be a brutal training camp with whipping and people being shot; it cut back to Mr. Telley who also reported that Candle Cove was reportedly being revived. It showed a trailer to Channel Zero: Candle Cove before the footage glitched and showed a very mad Mr. Telley who was shouting at someone, saying "If you don't come over here, I'll pull out my TommyGun and shove it up your-" He turned around before calming down and introducing Moose and Zee into the stage.

They greeted Mr. Telley with Moose saying "Hello, Mr. Telley, Gee, It's sure great to be on the show" Moose said with a smile. Zee gave a nod as a response to Moose's compliment. "Oh! And a merry Christmas to Noggin as well!" Mr. Telley said with a smile as well. "A Merry Christmas as well!" Moose said cheerfully. They started talking but something wasn't right. Every time Moose spoke, Mr. Telley's smile slowly faded to a annoyed straight face and then down to a almost evil and maddened face. Suddenly, he shouted "You know, you don't always have to cut people off you misshapen piece of trash with Horns!" Moose was taken back by this but he tried saying something but then Mr. Telley's face got red. He pointed outside the studio and said strictly "Get out." Moose and Zee were seen walking out of the studio which the episode ended.

Moose and Zee walked back into the view with Moose mumbling "Jeesh, that guy needs a chill pill, Anyway, Oobi is up-" Suddenly, Mr. Telley ran up to the studio and started beating up Moose and Zee! The screen immediately snapped to black and it slowly faded with the purple Noggin logo with white text at the front saying "We're sorry about what your kids have seen. We'll be back after the situation is done." Then it suddenly cut off to show Moose saying, "We are unfortunately having some news that Mr. Telley has been canceled due to unacceptable violence done upon and shown to the kids at home. But, Oobi is coming up next on Noggin!"

The director "J.J Snypes" was arrested later on September 23rd 2004, the day that Mr. Telley was canceled and replaced with "Oobi". He was sent to 60 years in prison and died on August 20th 2010 after the security guard used too much pepper spray in the eyes, causing a allergic reaction to the pepper spray and killing the man. I mean, the show isn't coming back...Right?
