Addie Wakefield was a lively woman that fancied the simple pleasures in life.
Whether it was tending to her garden in the early hours of the day, or taking to sewing at night, she always seemed to have a busy schedule; especially for her age.
She lived alone in an old farmhouse just fifteen miles from Glenley, a small town in southern Wisconsin.
The few family members that weren't yet deceased lived out of state, and living in such a rural part of the country, she lacked a close acquaintance.
She lived a solitary, yet fulfilling life.
Her skin will make a fine addition to my collection of fabrics.
