Music to the Devil's Ears

I was coming back from school when I heard some music coming from an abandoned house on the other side of the street. At first I ignored it, but my curiosity made me go there to see what that noise was. In the exact moment I stepped on the property, the volume got lower, and something made a cracking noise inside the small house that was destroyed in a fire twelve years ago, leaving no clues of what may have caused the fire at the same night as the house's owner went missing, I swallowed my fear and let my curiosity guide me inside the hall, where everything was destroyed, except a small book and a CD that had nothing to protect it, but was extremely clean and intact, which I took home to test my newly-bought CD player.

As soon as I got home, I ran upstairs and inserted the strange CD into the CD player and pressed play...

"In eighteen years there will be no more hope, and this world will be dark as if there was no God, and there won't be none to stop me, for I am the lord of suffering and I shall bring pain into this world..."

I translated this whole text from a strange language with the help from the book that seemed like a diary of some kind, and I went to sleep, scared, waking up in the middle of the night with a wolf howling (strange thing since I live in Italy).  Then I started to hear voices in my head in the same strange language, but somehow I was understanding everything and it told me, that "he" was coming soon and fulfilling the prophecy.

All that was five years ago, and I'm writing this as a warning to you, if you know anything about this then warn everybody!
