I know you’reyou're thinking “I’ve"I've read these stories before. what a joke”joke" but this is serious. I have posted on every forum just to get my message out. If something is too good to be true, it probably is.

A month ago, I had come home from college because the pandemic closed everything down. With almost a 4 month summer break, I figured I would need some cash. I had looked for jobs for a week with no luck, nobody is really hiring right now. Until, I got an email, it was a position open for the night clerk at a convenient store. Having worked at stores throughout college, I knew what to do, so it didn’tdidn't seem like too much of a challenge. It paid $11/h and I would be working from 7pm-7am. Not too bad I thought, 11 dollars to sit around since barely anyone would be out.

I put in my application and immediately received a phone call to come in for an interview the following day. After completing my interview, I was hired. I came in the following day to start my shift. The morning clerk smiled when I walked in. He said he was glad they could find a replacement so quickly. It seemed a little odd, but hey, workers are scarce right now.
