No Sex Because of Better Call Saul

My boyfriend refuses to have sex with me because of Better Call Saul.

We've had a healthy sexual relationship since the first time we met 2 years ago. He's a sweet guy, he always puts me first whenever we're in bed. But there's something.... interesting about his habits.

Something I noticed was that he kept a notepad right next to his bed and he would always write something in it after we did the deed.

The beginning of our relationship was honestly the best I've ever had but I never knew why he got more and more distant as our relationship went on. I knew it had something to do with the notepad. That damned notepad. He never told me what he wrote in the notepad after sex even when I begged him to. He's always been a mysterious guy but this added another layer, like he had something to hide.

I asked my friends about what he might have written in the notepad and they brought up that he could be writing about our sexual performance. I've always had an insecurity in bed due to... ahem... previous relationships so I got anxious that this might have been what he was up to.

For context, his favorite show is Better Call Saul and he's autistic so this is his special interest. He loved Breaking Bad and would always talk to me and all our friends about it and when Better Call Saul came out, he jumped right on it.

On Halloween we went as Saul and Kim to our friend's party and after we got home, we roleplayed and had a fun night but the day after shattered me.

He was passed out drunk from the night before and curiosity got the best of of me. I checked his notepad and written on there were seemingly random dates along with Better Call Saul episode names. As I took another look at the dates, I connected the dots and realized what he did. He kept a list of all the times we've had sex, each with the episode names in chronological order.

I woke him up as soon as I found out and my heart shattered when he couldn't look me in the eyes. I could see that he was ashamed— but he was ashamed he got caught not because of his actions.

"We can't have sex anymore, [my name]."

I immediately asked why and he told me that that he could only have a satisfactory performance if he thinks about Better Call Saul afterwards. I realized that because this was the last episode, we wouldn't have sex anymore. I asked him if that was the case and he nodded, looking at the floor.

How do I convince my boyfriend to have sex with me even though this is getting in the way of our relationship?
