Pac of Death
My name is Ashley and I'm a Pac-man fan. I played all the Pac-man games except one: Pac-man party. I waited anxiously for it to be released.
The day of its release has came and I rushed over to my nearest game stop. They didn't have it and I was seriously pissed. I literally dropped down to my knees and begged the manager to check again. He did and brought back a copy of Pac-man party.
I paid for it and rushed back home. I started up the game and the intro was weird. I checked this game out on YouTube a while back and this looked nothing like that. The present came out like normal, but greenwood grove was on fire, the sky was red and the ghosts was running away, panicking.
The music was different, it sounded distorted and even demonic. The castle was down in flames. Pac-man appeared out of the ruins of the castle but he looked different, demonic. He had red eyes and an evil grin with seriously Sharpe teeth.
A text box appeared and said:
"Good luck surviving my world, you'll need it."
He then jumped on the balloon like normal but he still had those red eyes and that evil smile. I didn't know what was going now. I think this is just a scary hack someone did. When Pac-man got up to the title screen, I thought the kids was supposed to say Pac-man party but instead they said in a frighten voice: RUN BEFORE HE GETS YOU. The sky was still red and no other balloons appeared. I ignored this and pressed start. The menu of the game only had one option: party mode. This was odd because this game should have five options. I picked the mode and saw a continue file.
The characters was Pac-man, Patra, Woofa and inky, but Pac-man had an even more creepy face than the title screen. His eyes was completely black and were bleeding. He still had the grin. Patra and Woofa was beaten and had terrified faces. Inky wasn't affected at all. The stage was called hell. This is getting more and more freaky. I started the stage and it looked a lot like spooky hallow but the sky was red and there was lava everywhere. the lava was up to the point to where you can't move at all.
The boss of the stages was an evil looking spider. It was already on the stage and it looked very different from the other two spiders. It was orange and red and had glowing purple eyes.
The music sounded like Giygas theme from mother 2. I was Patra and she looked terrified. I moved 6 and landed near Pac-man. the screen cut to black and a loud scream was heard. The voice sounded like Patra. The screen came back on and I saw Pac-man eating Patra's heart, literally. Patra's corpse was just laying there, lifeless. I was terrified at this point. The next playable character the game force me to be was Woofa.
He had the same face like Patra had. I moved 4 and lucky for me I did not land near Pac-man. Another textbox appeared and said: you can't run from me. Pac-man appeared behind Woofa, he turned around and the screen cut to black again. Woofa voice was heard screaming in pain. A text box appeared and said: nice try, Ashley. I want to unplug the game so badly but my curiosity got the best of me. I was switched over to inky and seem perfectly fine. I rolled a 3 and landed on a strange event space.
The EVENT sign appeared out of flames and a textbox appeared saying: run.....now. Like usual, 4 boxes appeared and I picked the 2nd one. Another textbox appeared saying: too bad, you get the death sentence! The screen cut to black again and stayed like that for like 2 minutes.
When the screen came back on, it showed a very unpleasing image. I screamed at the top of my lungs and unplugged the game. I immediately shut off the game and went straight to bed because sleep helps me to calm down. In an unusual dream I had, Pac-man was just standing there, watching me in nothing but pure darkness. His flesh started to peel off and his muscles were starting to show. He was screaming and begging me to end his misery. The only thing I HAD to do was to fight the urge to vomit. His flesh and bones was showing and ended up pissing myself.
The next day, I want up to GameStop and wanted a refund. I will NEVER play that game, Pac-man party.
