Paemaertlheyst re-take
if you could go back to prevent you from doing something you did, what would you do? Would you tell yourself the number to win the lottery? If i could do that, i would fix the biggest mistake i made, no i didn't break the law, nor did i kill anyone, but it has something to do with media, you're probably wondering what i mean, but don't worry i'll explain my story.
Have you heard of steven universe? If so I actually loved the show, which is why i got a job at cartoon network studios, but i also worked on other shows, i was sad when it ended, it was the reason i got a job after all. But i quit my job at the studio recently, i said to everyone it was beacuse everything being cancelled, but that wasn't the true reason, and now i finally have the nerve to tell everyone why i actually quit.
I remember it like it was yesterday, it was a good day at work, the sky was blue without a cloud in sight, and i was working on an episode of we baby bears.
However on break time the manager walked up to me, he said that i had been the best employee, wow, i knew i was good at drawing and voicing but i didn't know i was that good!
I asked what my reward was, they said that my reward was to see an unaired episode of steven universe, i was super happy, like i said i did get this job beacuse i loved steven universe, he said that the episode title was unknown, and the person who made it was also unknown, but a description episode said it took place during keystone motel and was supposed to be the season 4 premire, and it shows what pearl and amyethest did while steven garnet and greg were away, i was still like "why wasnt it aired?" The test audience said i don't wanna know.
So i got into the test audience room with some other employees, and the episode started,
It started out with the normal intro, but something wasn't right, the audio was a bit disoriented, and i could hear whispering in the background, i couldn't make out what it said, but i didn't care, i shrugged it off as if i was imagining things.
When the intro ended though, the last frame was on the screen for 5 seconds, but i just thought it was an error they made, that's when it got weird the episodes name was "paemaertlheyst", that title looked like they first put a letter from pearl the put then put the first letter of ametheyst then put tne next letter of pearl then put the next leter of ametheyst then kept doing that, i found that weird but i shrugged it off.
The episode started with the same begining as keystone motel, but when they left it showed pearl and amethyest sitting down, they kept relaxing for a minute, but then the episode started getting creepy, it cut to static for 10 seconds, and then it showed the couch, but ametheyst and pearl were nowhere to be seen.
It then cut to a house i didn't recognize from the show, and then it went inside the house, and it showed... oh my god... pearl and ametheyst tied up, and a person i also didn't recognize frome the show, he then did something shocking, he cut pearl and ametheyst's gems in 2, took 1 half from each gem, streched them so they match each other, and stiched the gems together.
Me and the rest of the test audience were shocked, then the gem reformed.
The gem that emerged was a horrifying gem. Some parts were from pearl. The others were from ametheyst, it had one leg and arm from ametheyst, and one leg and arm from pearl.
This again shocked me and the rest of the auidience, it then cut to a scene with steven garnet and greg coming back after the events of keystone motel, they opened the door and didn't see either pearl or ametheyst, greg said "guys where are you?" And then it cut to static.
It then cut to a scene that i will never forget, it was a scene of inside the house, stevens gem was broken and blood had come out of his ears mouth eyes and he had no pupils, garnets gems were smashed on the ground, greg was worst though, his limbs were cut off, he had been stabbed 5 times in the chest, and he had no eyes.
It was on that scene for 12 seconds, and then the hybrids head peaked out on the screen, and it said, "OUR WORK IS FINALLY DONE.”
5 seconds later it cut to black, then a text started fading in, as i heard i music box from the i love you song from barney and friends, the text was written in japanese and translated to "they don't care about me, they don't respect me, they don"t care about my mothers death, i made this beacuse they don't listen to me at all, to the other workers, you'll feel remoursful after seeing this. -john anderson"
The credits rolled there, in this episode, the credits font was times new roman, everything was covered in blood, and the music was reversed. Without any cartoon network logo, the dvd ended. i quickly took out the tape, and went to the manager, i said, "what the heck was that who is john anderson?" He then sighed and admitted that he did know who made the tape.
There used to be an employee named john anderson, he was a very quiet man, who wasn't that sociable, one time he was visiting his moms house, she was reaching to get a book from the shelf, and the ceeling fan was still on, her head hit the fan and she was decapitated.
John was undedstandibally... emotinally scared... home wasn't much better, he had two sister who were also conjoined, they akways argued and annoyed john, sometimes they argued at night, keeping john up.
Work was no better than home. They din't treat john nice, and they didn't like his animation, he started suggesting morbid ideas, like steven killing every other character, the other employees were getting mad about it, and he was THIS close to being fired, so he decided to take matters into his own hands, and made paemaertlheyst and submitted it as an episode idea.
They fired him instantly, obiously, they later found a sucide note he wrote saying he was going to live in north korea and was never coming back.
Then the thought occured to me to play the whole episode backwards, starting from when the hybrid said OUR WORK HERE IS DONE and at the intro i could make out the whispering and it said something that still haunts me 2 months after that incendent.
"The only place for me is hell, and the only way out is suicide"
