Pearls of Wisdom
This is a pretty scary thing that happened to my Pokemon Pearl game. This was the game that I've come closest to getting all the Pokemon (current file at 251 and if I could get a better internet connection and more patience, I could get farther) because of the GTS and from importing Master Balls and Pokemon from older games. One day, while poring over the map of Sinnoh, I noticed two small islands just west of Mt. Coronet (NOT Fullmoon and Halfmoon, southeast of those), so I switched off, put in my action replay, activated "Walk Through Walls" and turned 'er back on. Note that this is the first time I ever used this to leave the map, so I didn't know what to expect. You all probably know that when you leave the map with Action Replays, you enter a black zone with changing names and according music, but I didn't. So anyway, I did this and after trying to turn off and turn back on, I loaded there (although I didn't save) and there was an "Ace Trainer (Male)" NPC there. I talked to him, and he said, "Logan, I like you, so I'm gonna give you this. Use it well." and he left a "poke-ball" item left in his place. This is strange because my name in the game was Ash. Just as he was about to leave screen, he turned back and said, "Please..." and he walked off. I tried to chase him for a few seconds, but I never cought up to him. Eventually I turned back to check out the item. It was called, "Pearl of Wisdom I". I went to my items screen and clicked "Use" a messege popped up saying, "Rowan's words echo, "Logan, don't do that". Confused, I went back to it and clicked "Give". I gave it to my Empoleon (named Pecky) and it started the Evolution screen. When evolving, it's silloute stayed the same. Finally, the sprite stayed the same, except that two black dots appeared where there should be eyes. It said, "Your Pecky has evolved to a higher state of being, for now you dub it HOLY EMPOLEON. then it said, HOLY EMPOLEON learned Godly Message. I went to my Pokemon screen where it was apparently re-named, into HOLY EMPOLEON. It had a blue lined text "Godly Message" so I clicked it. It said, "HOLY EMPOLEON used Godly Message" and a text box appeared. It read, "You have entered into my realm now. I would say leave now, but you can't do that. Now fight me". And the battle scene appeared. When it entered the battle scene, it said "HOLY EMPOLEON is going to kill you". "Go Gata!" (My Feraligatr I traded from SoulSilver). "HOLY EMPOLEON used Holy Cleansing!" It showed a scene where several lights rose from the sprite, then it said, "Your Pokemon are dead!" "You have no choice but to fight!" Then my trainer threw a poke-ball and he shifted positions to a backsprite of a pokemon. I clicked FIGHT and he had 4 moves, all Dark Type. Murder, Genocide, Battle God, Draw Weapon. It was at that point that I realized what was happening. Ash was evil. He had entered his evil realm, and was battling a God. I chose "Draw Weapon" because it's the only one that didn't make me sick. A slicing sound was heard, and a depiction of a sword leaving it's sheath was shown. Then I got the high-pitched "stat-up" sound and it said "Ash's Speed sharply rose!". Then it said "HOLY EMPOLEON" used Psyche-Up" and every one of it's stats "sharply rose". I then decided to use Battle God, and there was no battle scene, just HOLY EMPOLEON's health completely draining. Then it said, "HOLY TORTERRRA and HOLY INFERNAPE appeared" I used Genocide, out of curiosity, and again no battle scene, but both the enemies died. Then it said, Nintendo used Desperation! and the whole battle scene phased out. Since then, I tried to restart my file and it's all gone smoothly, except the Chimchar I picked came named "Christ" and my Rival's Piplup came named, "Anti-Christ".
It's all been very troubling for me.
